Injection device with pricking protection and/or overload protection for a product container
An injection device having a distal end, and including a needle located inside the injection device in an initial position, wherein the needle is moveable to a puncturing position in which the needle projects from the distal end, an open region located distally relative to the needle in the initial position of the needle and having a dimension, a reduction piece moveable relative to the opening region whereby the dimension may be reduced and a holding member that latchingly connects to the reduction piece and a product container holder.
Safety Device for a Medicament Container
Described is a safety device (30) for a medicament container (20) comprising a first sheath (31) having a first ledge (35) and a second ledge (36), a second sheath (32) telescopically arranged with the first sheath and releasably coupled to the first ledge (35), and a finger flange (50, 500) having at least one resilient clip (72) adapted to engage the second ledge (36) first sheath (31).
INJECTOR APPARATUS FACILITATING AUTOMATIC CANNULA WITHDRAWAL
An injector for use with a primary package. The injector comprises distal and proximal housing components in telescopic engagement, a rod configured for axial movement with the distal housing part, and a mechanism for releasably fixing the rod to a plunger to allow trained axial movement of the rod and the plunger during telescoping together of the distal and proximal housing components over a first distance whilst allowing relative axial movement of the rod and the plunger during telescoping together of the distal and proximal housing components over a second, subsequent distance. The mechanism comprises two or more flexible fingers on one of the rod and the plunger and cooperating features on the other of the rod and the plunger, and a locking component axially moveable during telescoping between a locking position in which it substantially surrounds the flexible fingers and a release position in which it is axially spaced from the locking fingers.
Drug Delivery Device
The invention relates to a drug delivery device comprising: a syringe with a body from which a needle extends and an inner sheath; a piston rod comprising a piston and an actuation head, a support sheath for holding the body. It is envisaged that the support sheath and the actuation head comprise corresponding indicators.
Safety device for a medicament container
A safety device for a medicament container includes a first sheath having a first ledge and a second ledge, a second sheath telescopically arranged with the first sheath and releasably coupled to the first ledge, and a finger flange having at least one resilient clip adapted to engage the second ledge first sheath.
AN ASSEMBLY FOR AN INJECTION DEVICE
An assembly for an injection device is described. The assembly includes a container containing the medicament and having a cap. The container is sealed by a septum. A sealing element is in contact with an external surface of the cap and a needle is provided for piercing the septum. A needle hub is attached to the needle, where the sealing element is disposed between the external surface of the cap of the container and an internal surface of the needle hub. The assembly transitions from a first state, in which the needle is held away from the septum and a free end of the needle sits in a cavity sealed by the sealing element, to a second state, in which the needle passes through the septum. The seal is maintained throughout transition and when the assembly is in the second state.

Injection device preventing the return of the piston when the safety system is deployed
The present invention relates to an injection device (1) comprising: a body (3) designed to receive a product to be injected, furnished at its distal end with an injection needle (7) and receiving a piston (5) capable of being moved between a storage position and an end-of-injection position under the effect of a distal pressure exerted on a piston rod (8) to the distal end of which it is attached, means of protecting the injection needle (7) capable of adopting an initial position, during which the injection needle (7) is uncovered, and a final position, in which the said injection needle (7) is covered, biasing means (26) aiming at moving the said covering element (6) from its initial position to its final position, immobilization means (16, 31) aiming at keeping the said covering element (6) in its initial position, the said injection device (1) being characterized in that: the said piston rod (8) comprises at least a first portion (9) and at least one second portion (10) coupled to the said piston (8), the said first and second portions (9, 10) being operatively coupled together and selectively movable together in the distal direction, at least one of said first portion (9) and said second portion (10) being movable in the proximal direction separate from said other one of said first portion (9) and said second portion (10).
Safety Device For A Pre-Filled Injection Syringe
A safety device for an injection syringe including a syringe support, a protective sheath for protecting an injection needle carried by the syringe, the sheath being mounted to slide relative to the syringe support between an injection position in which the needle is uncovered, and a protection position in which the needle is covered, the sheath having an initial grip surface enabling the device to be gripped by a user, and a return spring for urging the sheath into the protection position. The sheath also includes an extender member for extending the initial grip surface and fitted on the sheath in such a manner as to present a larger grip surface, referred to as an enlarged grip surface.
