Safety device for a pre-filled syringe and injection device
According to the invention a safety device for a pre-filled syringe comprises a substantially cylindrical and hollow support body and a hollow needle shield slideably arranged relative to the support body. The support body comprises at least one resilient arm and the hollow needle shield or a needle shield assembly comprises at least one curved actuation ramp. The curved actuation ramp protrudes in a lateral direction (L) perpendicular to a central axis (A) of the safety device. The curved actuation ramp comprises a first lateral dimension (L1) at a proximal end of the needle shield and a second lateral dimension (L2) exceeding the first lateral dimension (L1) at a distal end of the needle shield. The resilient arm engages the curved actuation ramp when the needle shield is slid relative to the support body.

Medical needle safety device
A medical needle safety device includes a needle mount for supporting the needle and a needle shielding sleeve surrounding a supported needle coaxially with the mount, for sliding from a needle shielding position towards a non-shielding position. The mount (30) provides a sliding surface and a resiliently flexible finger is provided on the sleeve, the finger being resiliently deformed outwardly as the sleeve moves towards a non-shielding position, to urge the sleeve back to a shielding position. A control member is disposed within the sleeve and the inner surface of the finger has a camming surface with a transition profile between the inner surface and canning surface. On initial rearward movement of the sleeve, the control member interacts with the camming surface of the finger to flex the finger outwardly and store energy therein. Further rearward movement of the sleeve transfers the inner surface of the finger on to the sliding surface of the mount whereby the stored energy in the finger urges the sleeve forwardly to the shielding position.
Injection device
The present disclosure relates to an injection device including: a housing; a carrier disposed within the housing for holding a syringe that has a needle at one end; a needle sleeve located within the housing and being axially moveable with respect to the housing between an extended position and a retracted position; a biasing element configured to bias the needle sleeve towards the extended position; and a locking mechanism configured to lock the needle sleeve in the extended position after use of the injection device, the locking mechanism comprising; a first locking member provided on and projecting from the carrier; and a second locking member comprising a deflectable arm provided on the needle sleeve and moveable between a relaxed position and a deflected position.

Winged injection needle
A winged injection needle including an injection needle main body, a base that supports the base end of the injection needle main body and wings that protrude from the base toward the left and right sides to function as handles, the wings being constructed with plate members that are freely foldable through hinge sections so that in the folded state, they protrude from the base toward the left and right sides to function as handles, while in the expanded state, they extend from the base along the injection needle main body toward the leading edge of the injection needle to function as a safety cover that covers the injection needle main body.
Connection device and blood component separation apparatus
To prevent a user from accidentally pricking the user with a hollow needle when separating blood components using a syringe and a connection device. A blood component separation apparatus has three syringes and a connection device. The connection device is attached to one syringe and is inserted into other syringes. The connection device has a first member to which a base end of a hollow needle is joined and a second member which is connected to the first member in such a manner as to be able to move relative to the first member. The second member is moved back and forth between a first position where a tip of the hollow needle is accommodated and a second position where the tip of the hollow needle is exposed. The second member has elastic portions which are elastically deformed in the movement from the first position to the second position. The elastically deformed elastic portions elastically energize the second member at the second position to the first position side with respect to the first member.
