Quantitative tank bottom sludge valve
11137075 · 2021-10-05 · ·

The present disclosure provides a quantitative tank bottom sludge valve. The extension and retraction of a cylinder drives a lower valve body, a valve rod, an upper valve body and respective accessories to move up and down, and sludge at the bottom of a water tank that is deposited to the upper part of an upper valve plate and the lower part of an upper valve body gasket is discharged quantitatively, thereby saving water and avoiding blockage; moreover, the quantitative tank bottom sludge valve has simple components in structure, and it is low in processing and assembly precision requirements, low cost, convenient to install and maintain, and suitable for mass production and use.

Thickener feed distributor

A feedwell comprising a plurality of holes disposed in a bottom thereof, at least some of the holes having a tube disposed thereabout which extends downward or otherwise away from an interior of the feedwell. Optionally, a large center hole can be provided and it can have a tube disposed around it. By providing a plurality of holes spread across a large portion of the bottom of the feedwell, lower velocity flow rates from the feedwell to a sedimentation chamber can be provided, thus reducing induced turbulence in the fluid within the sedimentation chamber, while still providing sufficient separation of the feedwell from the sedimentation chamber so that the contents of the feedwell can be properly and adequately mixed.

Cyclonic inlet diverter
11065559 · 2021-07-20 · ·

A cyclonic inlet diverter for initiating the separation of a multi-phase inlet fluid flow comprises an enclosed tubular body mounted crosswise within a larger separator vessel. The inlet diverter includes a splitter plate positioned within a center portion of the tubular body and configured to split the inlet flow into a first stream and a second stream, and a swirl plate positioned on each side of the splitter plate with angled surfaces configured to increase the cyclonic motion of the first and second streams within the tubular body. The inlet diverter further includes elongate apertures formed through bottom sidewall portions of the tubular body on each side of the splitter plate, an axial aperture formed through opposing end caps of the tubular body, and at least one radial aperture formed through lateral sidewall portions of the tubular body proximate each opposing end cap.

FLOW CONTROL CARTRIDGE

A conduit assembly for a separation device is described herein. The conduit assembly includes a first conduit segment, a second conduit segment, and a removable flow control insert or cartridge, which may be easily installed and uninstalled without removing other components of the conduit assembly from the separation device. The flow control insert may be installed within a top opening of the second conduit segment and includes a projection that extends into the conduit assembly and obstructs or restricts fluid flow at the juncture between the first and second conduit segments.

Uranium extraction plant, uranium recovery, and acid or base recovery

Disclosed herein is apparatus for recovering an acid or a base during a uranium extraction process. The apparatus contacts contacting a feed stream comprising the acid or base and the uranium with an ultrafiltration membrane to produce an ultrafiltration retentate and an ultrafiltration permeate, and contacting the ultrafiltration permeate with a nanofiltration membrane. The nanofiltration retentate produced comprises a majority of the uranium from the feed stream, and the nanofiltration permeate produced comprises a majority of the acid or base from the feed stream.

METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR TREATMENT AND PURIFICATION OF OIL AND GAS PRODUCED WATER
20210269346 · 2021-09-02 ·

A method of treating oil and gas produced water may include: receiving produced water from one or more wells; separating an aqueous portion of the produced water from oil and solids included in the produced water in order to provide recovered water; performing anaerobic bio-digestion of organic matter included in the produced water using a biomass mixture of anaerobic bacteria obtained from a plurality of wells; aerating the recovered water in order to promote metal precipitation; and performing aerobic bio-digestion of organic matter present in the recovered water. Some embodiments may also include one or more of anoxic equalization, filtration, pasteurization, reverse osmosis, and biocide treatment of the recovered water. The recovered water may be used for oil and gas well fracking and/or land and stream application. Other methods of treating oil and gas produced water are also described.

Spring Filter System
20210268407 · 2021-09-02 ·

A side-flushing mechanical filter system includes a spring positioned within a pipe and a plurality of plates attached to the spring, each plate defining at least one hole, and a rod positioned partially within the pipe, a proximal end of the rod attached to a distal-most plate and a distal portion of rod extending from the distal end of the pipe. A major face of each plate is configured to arrest sediment from water flowing into the pipe via a first water inlet while the holes defined by the plates enable filtered water to flow therethrough and out of the first water outlet when the first water inlet and first water outlet are opened. During cleaning of sediment, graywater flows into the pipe via the second water inlet and over the plates while a user moves the rod to dislodge sediment from the plates and toward an outlet.
