SEAL WITH INTEGRATED FLUID REGULATING DEVICE
A seal housing with fluid regulating capability is provided for use with an outlet. The seal housing includes a seal element, a fitting and a valve. The seal element includes an angled flange that is fittable to the outlet and a seal element body from which the angled flange extends. The seal element body defines a bore extending between opposite open ends of the body and receptive of fluid from the outlet. The fitting is configured to tightly engage with the outlet and to urge the angled flange against the outlet with increasing pressure as fitting-outlet engagement proceeds. A valve is constrained within the bore and configured to regulate a flow of the fluid, which is received from the outlet, through the bore.
Filter cartridge
A filter cartridge includes a radio frequency identification, RFID, tag positioned on a casing. A compressed cellulose foam is positioned over the RFID tag on the casing. An impermeable material is positioned over the cellulose foam on the casing at an outer surface of the casing. The impermeable material defines a passage that extends through the impermeable material to the cellulose foam. The passage is configured such that water is flowable through the passage to the cellulose foam. The compressed cellulose foam is configured for wicking the water from the passage to the RFID tag.

Treatment device for treating fluids, in particular liquid fluids, and treatment element of treatment device
A filter device for treating fluids, in particular for filtering fluids such as fuel, oil, or water, has a housing (56) with a housing pot (58), a housing cover (60), at least one inlet (88) for the fluid to be treated, and at least one outlet (82) for the treated fluid. A connecting head (12) has at least one feed (16) for the fluid to be treated and connectable to the at least one inlet (88), and/or at least one discharge (18). The connecting head (12) and the treatment element (14) can be connected to each other by means of a releasable bayonet-type connecting device (34) through the execution of a rotational/plug-in movement about a connecting axis (20) of the treatment device (10).
Identification of filter media within a filtration system
In general, techniques are described for filter media monitoring within a filtration system. The filter media monitoring techniques described herein include, for example, direct contact with the filter media, e.g., a sensor may be located inside a boundary defined by a surface of the filter media, or indirect contact with the filter media, e.g., a sensor may be located outside the boundary defined by the surface of the filter media such that the sensor does not make direct physical contact with the filter media being monitored.
Permeable reactive weir
A permeable reactive weir having at least one outer wall which defines a chamber that holds reactive filter media.
Fluid filtration apparatus and method
An apparatus and method for filtering a liquid utilize a filter apparatus including a bypass filter, a full flow filter, and a flow balancing element for dividing a total inlet flow of fluid to the filter apparatus into a bypass portion, passing through the bypass filter, and a full flow portion, passing through the full flow filter. The bypass filter has a lower filtering efficiency than the full flow filter element, so that a venturi tube is not required for causing the bypass portion to pass through the bypass filter. The flow balancing element divides the flow into a desired bypass portion and a desired full flow portion, at a predetermined operating temperature. Below the operating temperature, the bypass portion increases and the full flow portion decreases, the bypass portion becoming greater than the full flow portion at a second predetermined temperature below the operating temperature.
FILTER AND METHOD FOR FILTERING A LIQUID
An oil filter assembly is disclosed for a machine, such as an internal combustion engine, that has an oil output port and an oil input port. A mounting plate is fixed with an outer enclosure. The mounting plate is further adapted to conduct oil from the machine into a peripheral portion of the outer enclosure, and then returning oil from a central portion of the outer enclosure back to the machine. Oil may pass from the peripheral portion to the central portion through a primary filter having a first porosity. A pressure-actuated valve is fixed fluidly between the portions of the outer enclosure.
LIQUID DISPENSER SYSTEM
A wall mounted filtering system includes a chassis having an outwardly facing planer surface, a central recess bay and at least one of an upper recess bay and a lower recess bay. The system includes a face plate covering at least a portion of the outwardly facing planer surface and a filter assembly including at least a first stage filter oriented horizontally within the at least one bays and attached to the chassis via a first hinge, the first stage filter being operably coupled to the chassis with the first hinge and second hinge to tilt outward between an initial filter position in which the first stage filter is located within at least one of the upper recess bay and the lower recess bay below the outwardly facing planer surface, and a final filter position in which the first stage filter extends outward from the outwardly facing planer surface.
Water stoppage structure utilized in a water purifier filter core
A water stoppage structure utilized in a water purifier filter core, comprising a filter core main body, provided with a water input port, a first water output port, and a second water output port; a filter core, disposed in the filter core main body; a seat body, disposed at one end of the filter core main body, matching and working in cooperation with the water input port, the first water output port, and the second water output port of the filter core main body; a first check valve, disposed at the water import port, and on a water channel leading to the filter core main body, for allowing water to pass only through the filter core main body; a first water passage switch valve, disposed on the second water output port; and a second water passage switch valve, disposed on the first water output port.
