FILTER SCREENS AND METHODS OF MAKING FILTER SCREENS
A filter screen includes a plate body with an upstream surface, an opposed downstream surface, and an array of apertures extending between the upstream surface and the downstream surface. A polytetrafluoroethylene-based layer overlays the upstream surface between apertures of the aperture array, the polytetrafluorethylene-based layer being conformally disposed over the upstream surface of the plate body and spanning the upstream surface between the apertures of the aperture array to slow deposition of carbonaceous deposits on the filter screen.
FILTER CORE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A filter core and manufacturing method thereof, the manufacturing method has the following steps: adhering a wavy filtering sheet and a flat filtering sheet, pressing the filtering sheets, and rolling the filtering sheets. A part of peaks of the wavy filtering sheet are pressed to lean toward a same side. In particular, two sides of a first end sealing adhesive layer are pressed. Thus, the first end sealing adhesive layer is concentrated, such that the glue is uniformly spread to the two sides. Besides, the pressing on the two sides makes the two sides of the first end sealing adhesive layer adhered securely, thereby preventing the wavy filtering sheet from rebounding upward and forming bubbles. Thus, the first end sealing adhesive layer can be formed with less quantity of glue, which accelerating the cooling and raises manufacture efficiency.
Slide valve, in particular for controlling a motor vehicle automatic transmission
A slide valve, in particular for controlling a motor vehicle automatic transmission, has a housing which includes an axial end section. A connector sleeve is situated on the axial end section of the housing, the connector sleeve having a larger diameter in a first axial area adjacent to the housing and a smaller diameter in a second axial area remote from the housing, a filter device being situated in the first axial area. The second axial area includes a hydraulic connection.
Filtration system with dual lip seal
Various embodiments relate to a filtration system. The filtration system includes a housing having a drain. A filter element is positioned within the housing. The filter element comprises a first endplate and a second endplate. Filter media is positioned between the first endplate and second endplate. A dual lip seal member is coupled to the second endplate. The dual lip seal member includes a first protrusion that extends radially outward around an outer surface of the dual lip seal member. A second protrusion extends radially outward around the outer surface of the dual lip seal member. The dual lip seal member is configured to prevent fluid to be filtered from exiting the housing through the drain when the filter element is in an installed position. The dual lip seal member permits residual fluid to exit the housing through the drain when the filter element is displaced from the installed position.
ANGLED PARTIAL STRAINER PLATES FOR WELL ASSEMBLY
A downhole assembly can include plates in series along a length of a tubular member. Plates can include particulate-blocking areas and pass-through areas. A pass-through area of a plate can be angularly offset from a pass-through area of another plate in the series. The plates may be angled so that particulate carried by fluid from a wellbore may be trapped by particulate-blocking areas that may be tilted away from the fluid source.
APERTURE ARRAY AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR
A film-shaped aperture array includes a first principal surface and a second principal surface opposed to each other and a plurality of apertures penetrating the first principal surface and the second principal surface. A projection projecting from the second principal surface in a normal direction of the second principal surface is provided in at least one region in contact with three or more of the plurality of apertures in a part of the second principal surface, when viewed in plan from the normal direction of the second principal surface.
FILTER AND FILTERING ARRANGEMENT
A filter for filtering pyrolysis oil and an arrangement. The filter is a split-flow filter (1, 1a, 1b), comprising a filter element (12), comprising plurality of apertures (17) extending through the filter element (12), a receiving channel (13) for receiving a flow (F) of pyrolysis oil to be filtered and for supplying said flow on first side (A) of the filter element (12), a main discharge channel (14) arranged on the first side (A) of the filter element (12) for discharging the portion of the flow (F) of pyrolysis oil having not penetrated through the filter element (12), and a filtrate channel (15) arranged on second side (B) of the filter element (12) for discharging the portion of the flow (F) of pyrolysis oil having penetrated through the filter element (12).
Filter-attached cartridge
Provided is a filter-attached cartridge which is inexpensive and has high productivity. This filter-attached cartridge has: a first resin mesh which is an integrally molded body having a plurality of ribs arranged therein in a lattice shape; and a cylinder formed in a cylindrical shape so as to surround the first mesh.
BLOOD TREATMENT FILTER AND BLOOD TREATMENT FILTER MANUFACTURING METHOD
A blood processing filter for removing undesirable components from liquid containing a blood component or blood, comprises a sheet-shaped filter element, and a container that includes an inlet-side container element and an outlet-side container element that are disposed to clamp the filter element, and has an internal space separated by the filter element into an inlet space and an outlet space. The filter element includes a pair of filtering surfaces disposed on the inlet space side and the outlet space side, and an end surface along a periphery of the pair of the filtering surfaces, and the inlet-side container element and the outlet-side container element are provided with a gripper that clamps and compresses outer edge portions of the pair of filtering surfaces, and adheres to the end surface with melt resin, and a part of the container is provided with a steam-permeable portion having steam permeability.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING BULKED CONTINUOUS FILAMENT
A method of manufacturing bulked continuous carpet filament which, in various embodiments, comprises: (A) grinding recycled PET bottles into a group of flakes; (B) washing the flakes; (C) identifying and removing impurities, including impure flakes, from the group of flakes; (D) passing the group of flakes through an MRS extruder while maintaining the pressure within the MRS portion of the MRS extruder below about 1.5 millibars; (E) passing the resulting polymer melt through at least one filter having a micron rating of less than about 50 microns; and (F) forming the recycled polymer into bulked continuous carpet filament that consists essentially of recycled PET.
