DEFENSE MOBILE DEVICE FOR SHELTER-IN-PLACE SITUATIONS
A defense mobile device for securing a door during shelter-in-place situations. The device includes wheels rendering it mobile and stops that, when actuated, hold the device stationary. A panel has a ballistic core that resists bullets, a front face, an opening, and a cover positioned over the opening to overlay and enclose a door knob protruding through the opening. The front face forms, or has affixed to it, a writing surface. The panel pivots between a plurality of angled positions to facilitate writing and an upright position flat against the door. A locking rod, rotatably connected to the panel, pushes and pulls the panel between its angled positions and its upright position. A lever-locking mechanism or a twist-lock mechanism secures the device in place against or within a door frame and against the door.
VARIABLE HEIGHT DESK
A desk having a desktop and a lever coupled to a lower surface of the desktop. The desk has leg coupled to the lower surface and including an inner leg telescopically moveable with respect to an outer leg. The desk has a pin extending through an aperture in the outer leg and coupled to the lever with a linkage system. The lever is configured to retract the pin into the inner leg or outer leg allowing the desktop to move between a first height and a second height.
Stowable sensory learning assembly
A stowable sensory learning assembly configured to provide a multi-sensory stimulation work space for people with sensory disorders and various learning disabilities that can be efficiently stowed when not in use and efficiently and rapidly deployed when needed. The stowable sensory learning assembly includes a horizontal base connected to a vertical housing and a canopy housing, display housing, and desk housing. The display housing and desk housing are movable relative to the canopy housing between a stowed position where the desk housing and display housing are substantially parallel to the canopy housing, and a deployed position where the display housing and the desk housing are angled relative to one another to define a work space.

Table and lectern furniture system
A table assembly comprising a top member forming a substantially flat top surface circumscribed by an outer edge and at least a first leg support member supporting the top member in a substantially horizontal position, a table dock secured to the top member and forming an elongated channel having a dock length dimension and at least a first display panel circumscribed by a panel edge and having at least one straight edge having a panel length dimension, the dock length dimension less than panel length dimension, wherein at least a portion of the straight edge of the panel is receivable within the dock channel with the panel extending out the open first and second ends of the channel to support the panel in a substantially upright orientation with at least a portion of the display panel extending to a height above the flat top surface.

Flip-top table for protection from projectiles
The invention is a piece of furniture that can be converted into a ballistic shield wherein a surface of the furniture is pivotally attached to a frame and rotates between a traditional working position and a shield position. The piece of furniture has a front modesty panel mounted between the front legs where an edge of the pivoting tabletop overlaps the upper edge of the modesty screen when rotated into the shield position. Additionally, the pivoting mechanism comprises a lift speed restricting mechanism that prevents the user from lifting the surface too quickly and prevents toppling along with a biasing mechanism to help hold the surface in the shield position. The invention also has a unique color coded system to easily indicate to a user that the piece of furniture can be converted into a ballistic shield.
