FUEL WATER SEPARATOR FILTER
A fuel water separator filter that is configured as a filter-in-filter construction with multiple water separating layers to separate water from the fuel. The fuel water separator filter is configured for use on a suction side of a fuel pump, and includes a neck with a radially outward facing seal that in use seals with the filter housing. The filter housing is formed with an isolated water sump that in use is isolated from water that is stripped from the fuel by the first stage of the outer filter.
Health meter
A health meter with decontamination device for contaminated fluid with a metal casing body with sealable metal lid, inlet port and outlet port, a removable open bucket having a docking lid and a plurality of openings, a hollow tube with an opening connected to an outlet port, a convex reinforcing spacer in the removable open bucket, a compressible decontamination media and a reinforcing seat in the removable open bucket. Contaminated fluid flows into the metal casing body between the removable open bucket and metal casing body through openings in the docking lid into the compressible decontamination media sequentially into the hollow tube and out the outlet port while an inlet and outlet electrode and two sensors in the media communicate with a controller via a network to a plurality of client devices for automatic remote monitoring.
LIQUID RECOVERY FILTER
A liquid recovery filter assembly for recovering filtered liquid trapped within a core or downstream side of a filter element. Multiple embodiments each include a recovery port and a recovery filter in fluid communication with the core or downstream side of the filter element. The recovery port is opened following filtration operations to permit and to facilitate filtered liquid to flow from a downstream or outlet port, thus allowing recovery of liquid remaining in the filter core or downstream side following filtering operations. The recovery filter permits the introduction of pressurized gas to force the filtered liquids from the filter assembly without compromising the sterility and/or non-contaminant condition of the liquid. Additional aspects include exchangeable filter cartridges or filter elements in single and multi-round configurations, embodiments with aspiration tubes and dip tubes and still others with hydrophilic/hydrophobic recovery filters that function as filters and as valves for the recovery port.
FILTER CAPSULE AND METHOD OF USE
A module alignment element, and a filter capsule including the module alignment element, a method of filtering fluid using the filter capsule, and a system including the filter capsule, are disclosed.
RETROFITTING AN OPERATING VEHICLE FUEL DELIVERY SYSTEM WITH A FUEL-AIR SEPARATOR
A method for retrofitting an operating fuel delivery system of a vehicle. The method includes obtaining a vehicle having an operating fuel delivery system, which includes an interconnected fuel tank, a fuel pump and an engine. Obtaining an air separator configured to be attached to the fuel delivery system at a connection point wherein the fuel pump and the engine are in direct fluidic communication and also obtaining attachment means for connecting the air separator to the fuel delivery system by fluidically mounting the air separator at the connection point wherein the fuel pump and the engine are secured in direct fluidic communication.
METHOD FOR FILTERING A LARGE VOLUME OF A MEDIUM WITH A PRE-STERILISABLE, AT LEAST SEMI-AUTOMATED ONE-WAY FILTRATION DEVICE
A method of filtering a large volume of a medium using a pre-sterilizable, at least partially automated single-use filtration device which includes an unfiltrate inlet, a filtrate outlet, a main line running between the unfiltrate inlet and the filtrate outlet, filter elements arranged in the main line, a venting line and sensors for detecting specific process parameters and regulating means for adjusting specific process parameters, wherein the sensors and regulating means are connected to an external monitoring and control system which is adapted for evaluating and processing sensor data and for piloting the regulating means based on one or more control algorithms, comprises the following process steps: a) filling the single-use filtration device with medium with low flow; b) venting the single-use filtration device through the venting line; c) closing the venting line; d) rinsing the single-use filtration device, in particular the filter elements; e) filtering the medium by means of the filter elements; f) re-rinsing with high flow; and g) closing the main line; wherein the process steps f) and g) are optional.
AUTOMATED SINGLE-USE FILTERING APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AN AUTOMATED SINGLE-USE FILTERING APPARATUS
An automated single-use filtration device, in particular for large-volume filtration processes, comprises an unfiltrate inlet, one or more filter elements, a filtrate outlet and sensors for detecting specific process parameters and regulating mechanisms for adjusting specific process parameters. The sensors and regulating mechanisms are connected to an external monitoring and control system, which is adapted for evaluating and processing sensor data and for piloting the regulating mechanisms based on one or more control algorithms.
FILTRATION DEVICE
A filtration device that includes: a filtration filter having a first main surface that captures a filtration target object contained in a liquid and a second main surface that faces the first main surface; and a housing that holds the filtration filter, and defines a liquid inflow path that faces the first main surface and a liquid discharge path that faces the second main surface, the housing including a tubular portion that extends in a direction away from the second main surface of the filtration filter and defines the liquid discharge path, and a flange portion that extends from an outer peripheral surface of the tubular portion, and the flange portion includes a vent hole extending away from the outer peripheral surface of the tubular portion.
RESIST FILTERING SYSTEM HAVING MULTI FILTERS AND APPARATUS HAVING THE RESIST FILTERING SYSTEM
A resist coating apparatus including a resist supplying system; a resist filtering system having a first filter, a second filter, and a pump between the first filter and the second filter; and a resist dispensing system, wherein the first filter includes a plurality of first unit filters connected in parallel.
Filter device
An air vent hole includes a substantially columnar hole main body portion, a first hole portion formed on the upper side of the hole main body portion, and a second hole portion formed on the lower side of the hole main body portion. Each of the first hole portion and the second hole portion partly has, in a cross section of the hole portion substantially orthogonal to a first direction that is a longitudinal direction of the hole main body portion, a cross-sectional area smaller than a cross-sectional area of a cross section of the hole main body portion substantially orthogonal to the first direction. A float inserted into the air vent hole is movable between a position where the float occludes the first hole portion and a position where the float occludes the second hole portion. The float occludes the first hole portion under the weight of the float. However, the float is pushed up by air. Furthermore, the float is formed of a material having a smaller specific gravity than a liquid to be filtered. Thus, the float is pushed up by the liquid to occlude the first hole portion.
