Magnetic materials for sensing and decontaminating toxic chemicals
A method and composition of matter for detecting and decontaminating hazardous chemicals, the composition of matter including: a magnetic material for any of chemisorbing, molecularly dissociating, or decomposing a hazardous chemical, wherein the magnetic material changes its magnetic moment upon any of chemisorption, decomposition, and molecular dissociation of the hazardous chemical and the change in magnetic moment is used to detect the presence of the hazardous chemical, and wherein the hazardous chemical includes any of toxic industrial chemicals, chemical warfare agents, and chemical warfare agent related compounds.
Air Purification Apparatuses, Systems, and Methods for Removing Particulates, Volatile Organic Compounds, and Nitrous Oxide-Containing Compounds
Air filtration apparatuses, systems and methods for nitrous oxide and volatile organic compound (VOC) removal and non-VOC particle removal enable the removal of particulates, nitrous oxide-containing compounds, and volatile organic compounds from large volume enclosed environments. Systems incorporate HEPA filtration upstream from UV LED-assisted photo reaction chamber comprising a plurality of baffles having air flow-through airflow spaces are spaced apart along a duct, with a porous and permeable nitrous oxide-adsorbing filter oriented downstream from the UV-assisted photo reaction chamber further filtering the airflow in the system to remove nitrous oxide-containing compounds.
Method and system for drying compressed air
Drying compressed air while utilizing a method for preemptive overload avoidance of moisture to a desiccant bed, including a recovery control process. The method may include a purge means, an initialization period for pre-learning to develop usage-profile log performance summary to compare against real-time data and a protocol for a normal state, a recovery state and a supplemental purge state and means to reestablish normal operations. A procedure for standby and overload alarm alerting states are also described. The purge means may be fixed rate or modulating. The system may have cycle times decrementing or incrementing stepwise in a predetermined or varying time frame to respond to on-going trending data in order to correct imbalance loading conditions by adjusting drying and regenerating cycle times, thus affording a stable delivery of quality dewpoint compressed air to the dryer output.
Gas separating system
Separation efficiency of a gas in a gas separator mounted on a vehicle is improved. The gas separation system mounted on the vehicle provided with an internal combustion engine includes the gas separator configured to separate a predetermined component in the gas under the existence of water, a first passage connected to the gas separator so as to introduce an atmosphere into the gas separator, and a second passage connecting between an exhaust passage of the internal combustion engine and the first passage so as to introduce exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine into the gas separator.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ENHANCING THE REDUCTION OF PATHOGENS, ALLERGENS AND ODOR-CAUSING AGENTS
Disclosed are methods and apparatus that help reduce and prevent infection by controlling and/or reducing the level of contaminants, which include pathogens, allergens and/or odor-causing agents including VOCs. Photocatalytic oxidation is performed in a high humidity environment so that hydrogen peroxide molecules are readily produced.

EXHAUST GAS PURIFICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD AND DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM FOR MONITORING AT LEAST ONE EXHAUST GAS PURIFICATION SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a computer-implemented method for monitoring at least one exhaust gas purification system for purifying an exhaust gas stream to be purified of an industrial system or an industrial process. The method comprises retrieving system data of the exhaust gas purification system from a data cloud. The system data stored in the data cloud were at least partially received beforehand by the data cloud from the exhaust gas purification system. The system data relate to at least measurement data of at least one sensor of the exhaust gas purification system and/or data about at least one adjustable parameter of the exhaust gas purification system. The method further comprises determining at least one quantity characterizing the exhaust gas purification system based on the retrieved system data.
