HYDROCARBON ABSORBING FILTER
A hydrocarbon absorbing cone filter for an air intake system may include a generally truncated cone shaped media filter and an internal hydrocarbon absorbing element therein. The hydrocarbon absorbing element may absorb hydrocarbons at the clean air side of an air stream flowing through the media filter and into a combustion engine system.
Portable particulate filtering system and method
A filtering system capable of removing particulates from a water slurry is disclosed. The filtering system comprises a base plate, the base plate comprising a sealing surface and a slurry inlet. A flexible vessel is configured to seal to the sealing surface, and an interior cavity, wherein the flexible vessel is formed of a flexible filtering material capable of retaining particulates. The flexible vessel permits liquid entering through the slurry inlet to pass through the filtering material and is capable of withstanding an internal pressure sufficient to form a particulate cake without rupturing the flexible vessel. A sealing system is provided for retaining an upper portion of the flexible vessel against the sealing surface. The filtering system may be part of a portable system that includes a cart, hoses, piping, a pneumatic pump and a control panel.
RETANGULAR FILTERS, ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR FILTRATION
The present invention discloses a rectangular shaped filter and coalescer elements and a vessel that houses a plurality of such rectangular shaped elements. Greater filtration or separation efficiency is provided due to increased number and alignment of rectangular shaped filter elements in the vessel. The rectangular shaped filter elements are also easy to replace.

High flow, low hold up filters
Filter devices with a flow director surrounded by a filter element providing a large filter surface area and low fluid volumes for efficient filtration and high recovery of sample fluids. The filter device can be configured with dimensions and sealing surfaces to functionally interact as a pre-filter for common usage disposable filter flasks.
ESPRESSO MACHINE CONE FILTER
An espresso machine cone filter is disclosed. In one embodiment, and espresso machine cone filter includes a base having a protruding rim to fit within a portafilter, the protruding rim having a hollow under section to align with the top of the portafilter, a mesh cone filter fixed to the base on a top end, with mesh cone filter having one or more layers of mesh and a robust cap on the cone filter tip to hold the mesh in place and to provide a rigid place to tap the cone filter for removal.
