GAS ADSORBENT BODY, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THEREOF, AND CARBON DIOXIDE GAS CONCENTRATION DEVICE
A CO.sub.2 concentration device has an adsorbent body formed from sheet material. Solid adsorbent particles are adhered onto at least a single surface of the sheet material and then the sheet material is wound onto itself or laminated in layers. The adsorbent body is divided into at least into a processing zone and a regeneration zone. CO.sub.2 is adsorbed in the processing zone when the processing zone is wet with water and a CO.sub.2 containing gas is passed through. The regeneration zone desorbs CO.sub.2 when saturated steam is passed through. Condensation heat from the steam condensing causes CO.sub.2 desorption. The solid adsorbent particles may be aligned in a linear or a staggered arrangement when the solid adsorbent particles are adhered to the sheet material to follow a gas flow and form gas introduction paths between adjacent layers of the sheet material.
IN SITU REJUVENATION OF CONTAMINATED MECHANICAL FILTRATION MEDIUM
An in situ system of filter rejuvenation can be applied to a mechanical filter passing fluid contaminated by chemical and particulate materials such that the filter removes the contaminants from the flow by trapping the contaminants in a filter medium. A non-combustive infrared heating system gasifies the trapped contaminants without combustion and without emissions to the atmosphere, restoring the efficacy of the filtration medium.
WASTEWATER SCREEN FILTER AND CHAIN TENSIONING SYSTEM
A screen filter for wastewater applications includes a chain tensioning system. The chain tensioning system provides a tensioning force for a screen filter chain. The chain tensioning system includes a chain adjuster device configured to tension the screen filter chain. The chain tensioning system additionally includes a sensor configured to provide a signal representative of a load applied by the chain adjuster; wherein the chain adjuster device is configured to apply a force in a direction that tensions the chain and wherein the signal provided by the sensor is representative of the force.
Self-cleaning and monitoring filtration system
A filter system of the type having a pressure vessel having an annular filter media therein with a filter wiper piston moved by an air or hydraulic piston actuator. An electrically operated drain valve purges wiped contaminants from the filter media. Pressure sensors provide a signal to a controller of vessel inlet and outlet pressure. Position detectors provide signals to the controller of the drain valve position and filter actuation position. The controller has a computer which computes from the sensor inputs parameters representative, in real time, of entry fluid condition, relative amount of filter contamination, relative amount of filter wear, and relative amount of contaminant removal, and provides signals of the representation to indicators providing visual display thereof.
Multistage shower water filter and water filtering method
A multistage shower filter assembly for water filtering having an in-line reversible filter, changeable by unscrewing two portions of the housing. The housing exterior includes a plurality of gripping means to allow easy opening and closing of the housing and to prevent slippage of the hands of a user gripping the two portions, even when wet. The multistage shower filter assembly includes a separate internal multistage filter element that may be easily inserted into or removed from the multistage shower filter assembly to allow the internal filter element to be easily reversed for longer use.

Method and Device for Removing Particles from Waste Water
Filter and method for filtering solve problem of filtering of microfibers. The filter is specifically designed for efficient removal of microfibers from fluids including wastewater such as is emitted by washing machines and clothes dryers in their normal mode of operation. The filter and filtering method hereby disclosed is characterized by the possibility to insert the filtering device directly into existing washing machines without the need for modifications. The filer has a form that allows its direct insertion into an existing void in the washing machine that is connected or an integral part of the drain pump.
ENCLOSED MEDIA FLUID FILTRATION DEVICE
A filtration device comprising a media basket, a baseplate, and a canister. The media basket is affixed to the baseplate. The canister has a cavity therein and is detachably coupled with the baseplate to enclose the media basket. The media basket contains a porous filtration material that efficiently removes contaminants from liquid. The device is configured to establish a first siphon to convey liquid from outside the device into the canister cavity through a canister pipe when a liquid level outside the filtration device is higher than the top of the weir in the canister pipe and configured to establish a second siphon to convey liquid from canister cavity through the top of a center riser pipe and out an outlet pipe when the first siphon has been established and the liquid level outside the filtration device is higher than the top of the center riser pipe.

DISHWASHER AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
A dishwasher and a control method thereof are disclosed. The dishwasher includes a tub accommodating an object to be washed, a spray arm rotatably provided inside the tub to spray wash water toward the object to be washed, a sump for storing wash water and collecting wash water sprayed into the tub therein, a filter separably mounted to the sump to remove foreign substances from wash water, a wash pump for supplying wash water stored in the sump to the spray arm, and a circulation passage for diverting at least a portion of the wash water supplied to the spray arm by the wash pump to the sump. After the dishes are washed, all of the wash water introduced into the wash pump is diverted into the filter. Foreign substances present in the wash water are collected in the filter and are discharged outside along with the wash water.
