REGENERABLE SMART MATERIALS FOR SELECTIVE REMOVAL OF POLLUTANTS FROM WATER AND WASTE WATER
The present disclosure relates to a system and regenerable molecular media for wastewater purification treatment and a preparation method thereof. The molecular filter media of the present invention are extremely high surface area filter granules and pellets that are either supplied loose or molded into blocks. The industry uses these for filtration in flow-through filter devices. The disclosed regenerants effectively break bonds and get the molecular filters ready for the next cycle of use.
Fuel Filter Assembly and Cartridge
A draw latch retainer is used to secure a filter cartridge to a filter head. A cam actuated retainer extends from the head to engage a keeper in the top of the cartridge. Rotation of the cam draws the retainer and cartridge axially toward the head into an installed position. The retainer extends through an aperture in the upper portion of the cartridge to apply a retention force against the bottom side of the keeper. The keeper and upper portion of the cartridge supporting the keeper are configured to transmit the retaining force laterally across the top of the cartridge. A pair of axial conduits project from the cartridge and mount O-ring seals for implementing an axial sealing interface with passages in the head.
Elastic component providing indication of proper installation
An apparatus having a bottom assembly with a fitting for interfacing to connect the bottom assembly to a second structure, having an elastic element that, when sufficient force is applied via the process of mating the bottom assembly to the second structure, and at an appropriate pressure value, passes from a first stable position, through a threshold, and to a second position, creating a tactile or audible indication that the apparatus has been properly installed.
HIGH CAPACITY OIL FILTER
An apparatus and a method are provided for a high capacity oil filter configured to remove contaminants from engine oil flowing within an internal combustion engine. The oil filter comprises a hollow canister having a length and a diameter suitable for housing a large filtration medium. A base gasket forms a fluid-tight seal between the oil filter and the engine. A base plate circulates oil from the engine through the oil filter. An anti-drainback valve prevents oil from draining out of the filter and passages within the engine when the engine is not operating. A key aspect of the present disclosure is that the relatively large dimensions and the configuration of the filtration media provide a large surface area for entrapping contaminants flowing with the engine oil.
Bagged filter cartridge, system and method
A filter assembly is provided. The filter assembly includes a filter cartridge with a containment bag including a vent port and a support housing, including a split lid.
Oil filter removal and drain system and method
An oil filter removal and drain system including an oil-filter-removal assembly and a drain-attachment assembly in functional combination. The oil-filter-removal assembly includes a top-frame, a bottom-frame, a geared-socket-hub, a filter-socket, a plurality of geared-clamp-jaws, a filter-gasket, and a toggle-clamp in functional and structural combination. The drain-attachment assembly includes a drain-attachment-body, a drain-toggle-clamp, a drain-nipple, and a filter-cutter. The drain-attachment assembly is removably affixable to the oil-filter-removal assembly via the plurality keyhole-stud-receivers of the drain-attachment assembly accepting and retaining the plurality of keyhole-studs of the oil-filter-removal assembly. An oil-filter-removal assembly may be used on many different types of fluid filters (e.g., hydraulic fluid, diesel fuel, engine oil, etc.).
BAGGED FILTER CARTRIDGE, SYSTEM AND METHOD
A filter assembly is provided. The filter assembly includes a filter cartridge with a containment bag including a vent port and a support housing, including a split lid.
ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR FILTERING FLUIDS
A filtering apparatus includes a screen assembly removably positioned within an inner cavity of a screen chamber. The screen assembly includes a frame portion at a first end and a screen portion extending from the frame portion to a second end. The frame portion includes an end block and frame members interconnecting the end block and the screen portion. The screen portion includes an outer screen and an inner screen disposed within an interior space of the outer screen. An outer wall of the outer screen and an outer wall of the inner screen each includes a plurality of openings. The screen chamber includes a removable end cover with a key for rotationally locking the screen assembly in the inner cavity. A screen manifold may include a first fluid path including the screen chamber, and further including a bypass fluid path having a bypass valve.
Filter cartridge end plate for use in removing a filter cartridge from a shell
A filter cartridge including an improved endplate configured to enable a user to remove the filter cartridge from a shell without the use of external tools. The filter cartridge includes a filter media, a first endplate coupled to a first end of the filter media, and a second endplate coupled to a second end of the filter media. The second endplate includes at least one tab formed therein along an outer peripheral surface thereof. Each tab defines a pocket formed therein, via which the user may grasp the endplate and thereby remove the filter cartridge from the shell by hand.
