The filter housing including a cap affixed to the bowl to form the enclosed space. The cap including a fluid inlet port, a fluid outlet port, and a gas venting port for the enclosed space. The filter cartridge includes radial projections disposed in slots of the bowl blocking rotation of the filter cartridge relative to the bowl. A method of making a filter assembly includes inserting a filter cartridge into a bowl, and affixing the cap to the bowl.

A method of retrofitting a filter housing includes removing the filter housing from a filter head, coupling a sealing valve to the filter housing to form a removable filter cartridge, and removably coupling the removable filter cartridge to the filter head.

Water-purification cartridge and water purifier
Provided is a water-purification cartridge to be replaceably accommodated in an accommodating portion of a water purifier. The cartridge includes activated carbon that removes impurities from water, forms, within the water purifier, a raw water flow path through which raw water flows downstream without passing through the activated carbon and a water purification flow path through which raw water flows downstream while passing through the activated carbon, and further includes a buffer portion that is disposed, within the water purifier, at a position upstream of flow path switching valves for selecting discharge from the raw water flow path or discharge from the water purification flow path and downstream of the activated carbon and that cuts off a water hammer propagating from the flow path switching valves to the activated carbon.

In some examples, a filter assembly may include a filter including a first gasket having a first channel adjacent to a first side of the filter and a second gasket having a second channel adjacent to a second side of the filter. The first gasket and the second gasket may include a beveled surface adjacent to the filter. The first channel and the second channel may include a diameter of from about 0.01 mm to about 0.5 mm. A finger tightening system may securely hold the filter without any leaks.
System and method for a filter system
A filter for use in filtering a fluid slurry that includes particles of varying size, such as pool water including debris, is provided. The filter is in electrical communication with a sensor and includes a housing having an inlet to receive the fluid slurry, an outlet, and an internal chamber. An actuator can be coupled to the filter media to move at least a portion of the filter media to vary a dimension of the pores. The filter also includes a controller connected to the actuator that is capable of receiving a signal from the sensor and controls the actuator to change the dimension of the pores based on the signal.

A fat cutter and an integrated machine for preparation of in vitro fine-particle fat are provided. The fat cutter includes a fat inlet channel, a fat outlet channel, at least one set of blades disposed between an outlet of the fat inlet channel and an inlet of the fat outlet channel, and a housing that seals a space in which the outlet of the fat inlet channel, the inlet of the fat outlet channel, and the blades are located. A fat inlet of the fat inlet channel is connected to a large-diameter liposuction tube by a liposuction channel, and a fat outlet of the fat outlet channel is connected to a high-negative pressure device. The outlet of the fat inlet channel and the inlet of the fat outlet channel are oppositely provided, and a gap therebetween matches the thickness of the blades.

A multistage filter cartridge includes a generally circular outer filtering stage composed of a melt blown polypropylene material having an outer surface and an inner surface and an inner diameter and an outer diameter, and a generally circular inner filtering stage composed of carbon and a binder material forming a carbon block having an outer surface and an inner surface and an inner diameter and an outer diameter. A first void is disposed between the inner surface of the outer layer and the outer surface of the inner layer, and a second void within the inner surface of the carbon block, said voids being filled with granular, filtering material.
AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLIES AND METHODS OF USE
An air cleaner assembly is disclosed. In one aspect, the air cleaner assembly includes a housing defining an inlet and an outlet, and including an access opening between the inlet and outlet. The air cleaner also includes a filter cartridge received within the housing and covering the access opening. The air cleaner also includes a lock mechanism. The lock mechanism is movable between an unlocked position in which the filter cartridge can be installed and removed from the housing and a locked position in which the filter cartridge is secured within the housing. The filter cartridge and lock mechanism include interacting features allowing the lock mechanism to be moved from the unlocked position to the locked position only when the filter cartridge is installed within the housing.
