A fuel pressure regulator and fuel filter assembly includes: a housing, having a connecting end having a fuel channel; a filter element, located in an accommodating cavity of the housing; a cover plate, located at a second end of the housing; a rear cover, having one end being an opening end and another end being a spring seat, and a sidewall, the opening end being connected to the housing; a spring, a first end thereof being pressed against the spring seat; a seal arranged in the rear cover, a second end of the spring being pressed against the seal; and a fixing ring that fixes the rear cover to the connecting end of the housing, the fixing ring being welded by laser to the connecting end. When fuel pressure is no greater than a spring preload, the seal closes the fuel channel.

A water filter assembly includes a manifold mountable to a water conduit. An end of the water conduit is receivable between a manifold body and a mounting clamp of the manifold. A fastener is configured for drawing the manifold body and the mounting clamp together in order to clamp the water conduit to the manifold. A face seal is configured to be compressed between the manifold body and the mounting clamp when the fastener draws the manifold body and the mounting clamp together. An O-ring is positionable on the water conduit such that the O-ring extends between an inner surface of the manifold body and an inner surface of the mounting clamp.

A fluid circuit (160) defining a flow path for a fluid from a fluid supply (152) toward a process stage (156). The fluid circuit may include a plurality of operative components (168) including a body portion (182) and a plurality of tubing connector fittings (186). The operative components may be connected by a plurality of tubing segments (164). Each body portion may include a non-conductive fluoropolymer portion and an outer conductor (234) that extends between each of the plurality of tubing connector fittings and that is unitary with the non-conductive fluoropolymer portion. The plurality of tubing segments may include a non-conductive fluoropolymer tubing portion (187) and an axial strip (188) of conductive polymer. The outer conductor of each body portion conductively connected with tubing segments connected thereto. Each of the connectors may include a bridging component (262) for conductively connecting the respective outer conductor of the body portion to the strip of conductive polymer of the connecting tubing segments.

Diesel fuel filter assembly

A filtration assembly filters diesel fuel used by a diesel engine and includes a filter element disposed within a housing. The housing includes an unfiltered fuel inlet and a filtered fuel outlet. The filter element disposed within the housing receives fuel from the fuel inlet. The filter element defines a peripheral wall sealably engaging filter media defining an unfiltered side and a filtered side of the filter element. The unfiltered side is enclosed with an impermeable barrier affixed to the peripheral wall and the filtered side is enclosed with a permeable water diffuser through which filtered fuel passes. A water separator assembly is disposed externally to the filter element receiving filtered fuel from the water diffuser. The water separator assembly includes water separator media preventing water from passing into the separator. The separator assembly interconnects to the filtered fuel outlet providing filtered, dewatered diesel fuel to the diesel engine.

In various embodiments the supporting net is placed on at least one of an outflow side of the filter membrane and an inflow side of the filter membrane. In one or more embodiments, the supporting net includes a mesh of non-conductive fluoropolymer threads and conductive fluoropolymer threads. The conductive fluoropolymer threads in certain embodiments extend substantially parallel to pleats of the filter membrane and the supporting net.

Water in fuel (WIF) sensor having electrostatic discharge capability

A water in fuel (WIF) sensor is disclosed, and comprises a main body defining a surface, a pair of electrical contacts, and a third electrical contact assembly. The pair of electrical contacts each have a first end portion that is located along the surface of the main body. A predetermined resistance flows between the electrical contacts when the first end portions of the electrical contacts are submerged in water. The third electrical contact assembly has a first end portion and a second end portion. The first end portion of the third electrical contact assembly is located along the surface of the main body and the second end portion of the third electrical contact assembly is connectable to a ground.

Serviceable diesel fuel filter assembly

A filter assembly for filtering diesel fuel used by a diesel engine includes a housing that defines a housing opening, an unfiltered fuel inlet and a filtered fuel outlet. A panel is matable to the housing for sealably enclosing the opening for forming a housing chamber. A panel encloses the opening and defines an inner surface. A filter element formed from a peripheral wall includes filter media defining an unfiltered side and a filtered side of said filter element. The peripheral wall is sealably affixed to the inner surface enclosing the unfiltered side of the filter element from the housing chamber defining an unfiltered chamber. A permeable barrier is affixed to the peripheral wall defining a filtered chamber with the filtered side of said filter element receiving filtered fuel through the filter media. The housing chamber receives filtered fuel through though the permeable barrier.

The wrap is in the form of a strip secured to at least the filter element. The wrap comprises a conductive layer comprising an electrically-conductive material. The wrap is wrapped around the filter element such that at least forty percent of the outer surface area is covered by the conductive layer.
