Filter assembly for improved filter cartridge placement and detection in a refrigerator appliance
A filter assembly with features for improved filter cartridge placement and detection are provided. The filter assembly includes a filter cartridge and a filter housing for receiving the filter cartridge. A contact member extends from the filter housing for engaging the filter cartridge when the filter cartridge in the installed position. A first contact is mounted to the contact member and a second contact is mounted to the filter cartridge such that the first contact and the second contact establish an electrical connection when the filter cartridge in the installed position.
TRACKING WATER FILTER LIFESPAN
Tracking a filter lifespan in a fluid supply system includes determining specifications of a filter. A flow detection device determines fluid characteristics of fluid flowing through the filter, where the fluid characteristics comprise fluid flow data. The fluid flow data is analyzed to determine fluid flow through the filter. A lifespan stage of the filter is determined based on the fluid flow through the filter.
Self cleaning disc filter apparatus
A filtering apparatus (100) having a filtering mode and a self-cleaning mode, the apparatus provided for filtering an upstream flowing fluid with filtering elements (20) in the form of a plurality of stackable discs during filtering mode utilizing a first flow direction, apparatus (100) also configured to self-clean the filtering elements (20) the apparatus (100) including an internal fluid diverter (110,210, 310) that is internal to the filter housing. The position of the internal fluid diverter determines the direction of fluid flow through the filter housing and the filter phase. The position of the internal fluid diverter is controlled with a controller disposed external to the filter housing that may be manipulated either manually or by automated means.
FILTRATION SYSTEMS, FILTER ELEMENTS AND METHODS WITH WIRELESS POWER TRANSMISSION AND SEPARATE SIGNAL OUTPUT
Aspects herein include filter elements and filtration systems. In an embodiment, a filter element for a filtration system is included. The filter element can include a filter body and a filter media disposed within the filter body. A wireless power receiver can be associated with the filter body. The wireless power receiver can include a receiving antenna, a control circuit in electrical communication with the wireless power receiver, and a feedback channel circuit in communication with the control circuit and configured to transmit through a channel separate from the receiving antenna. Other embodiments are also included herein.
SMART SOLIDS CONTROL SYSTEM
A material separation system is disclosed that may include a vibratory shaker, a centrifuge, a sensor, and/or a processor circuit. The vibratory shaker may be configured to separate a solid-liquid mixture into a first solids-containing component and a shaker effluent. The sensor may be configured to measure a property of one or more of the solid-liquid mixture, the first solids-containing component, the shaker effluent, and the second solids-containing. A well-performance analysis system may be configured to analyze mud reports of drilling rigs within a geographic basin to determine which rigs are performing inefficiently. The system may allow recommendations and send control signals to improve the efficiency of the solid-liquid separation system. The system may allow an operator to view agglomerated well performance data to identify which rigs are performing below a geographic basin baseline and make informed decisions to improve the functioning of a solid-liquid separation system associated with one or more drilling rigs.
Health meter
A health meter with decontamination device for contaminated fluid with a metal casing body with sealable metal lid, inlet port and outlet port, a removable open bucket having a docking lid and a plurality of openings, a hollow tube with an opening connected to an outlet port, a convex reinforcing spacer in the removable open bucket, a compressible decontamination media and a reinforcing seat in the removable open bucket. Contaminated fluid flows into the metal casing body between the removable open bucket and metal casing body through openings in the docking lid into the compressible decontamination media sequentially into the hollow tube and out the outlet port while an inlet and outlet electrode and two sensors in the media communicate with a controller via a network to a plurality of client devices for automatic remote monitoring.
FILTER ELEMENT SENSOR MODULE HAVING PROCESSING AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION CAPABILITIES
A filter element sensor module having a housing, a sidewall of the housing including a recessed portion. The sensor module including a sensor assembly being provided within the housing about a sensor port interface being provided at one end of the housing. The sensor module also including processing circuitry being configured to receive signals from the sensor assembly and communication module, the communication module being configured to transmit one or more sensed parameters from the sensor assembly.
SHAKER VIBRATION AND DOWNHOLE CUTTINGS MEASUREMENT ANALYSIS AND PROCESSING
A method includes performing a downhole operation in a borehole; capturing, during the downhole operation, downhole particles and drilling mud at the surface from the borehole into a screen of at least one shaker; shaking the screen to emit vibrations to separate the downhole particles from the drilling mud; defining a vibration limit for a normal operating condition of the at least one shaker; setting a vibration fault threshold based on the vibration limit for the normal operating condition; monitoring, using at least one sensor, the vibrations over time; and determining there is a fault condition for the shaker, in response to the vibrations exceeding the vibration fault threshold.
FILTERS WITH DYNAMIC PORE SIZES
A filtration assembly comprising can include a housing in fluid communication with an inlet for receiving waste water from a wellbore. The assembly can also include a filter device for filtering a substances from the waste water. The filtering device can include a plurality of pores that are sized and shaped to define first dimensions. The filter device may be configurable in response to stimulus for altering the dimensions of the plurality of pores of the filter device to define a second area that is different from the first area.
A PROGNOSTICS AND HEALTH MANAGEMENT MODEL FOR PREDICTING WIND TURBINE OIL FILTER WEAR LEVEL
A method for predicting a wind turbine oil filter wear level wherein a differential pressure exists between upstream and downstream sides of the filter. The method includes extracting features from wind turbine sensor data to provide extracted data and selecting features from the extracted data that correlate with a change in the differential pressure. The method also includes estimating a filter condition by learning a filter regressive linear model that uses filter direct environment operating conditions data obtained from the extracted data. In addition, the method includes forecasting at least one operating condition scenario represented by three features obtained from the extracted data. Further, the method includes forecasting a filter wear level wherein the filter model uses the at least one forecasted operating condition scenario represented by the three features.
