Fuel Filter
A fluid drain off system for a fuel filter, the system comprising a float, movable together with a trigger device for a switch, such as a magnet, in response to the level of fluid contaminant, a switch arranged to be selectively triggered by the trigger device upon the fluid contaminant reaching a predetermined level, and a fluid passage configured to be selectively opened in response to the triggering of the switch to allow fluid contaminants to be drained from the filter.
Pool Cleaning Assembly
A pool cleaning assembly includes a frame is that may be manipulated thereby facilitating the frame to be urged through a pool. A float is coupled to the top lateral member. The float floats in the pool thereby facilitating the frame to be oriented upright in the pool. A pair of wheels is provided. Each of the wheels is rotatably coupled to the frame to roll along a bottom of the pool. A plurality of brushes is provided and each of the brushes is removably coupled to the frame. Each of the brushes is frictionally engages the bottom of the pool when the frame is urged through the pool. Thus, each of the brushes cleans the bottom of the pool. A screen is removably coupled to the frame. The screen capture debris when the frame is urged in the pool thereby facilitating the debris to be removed from the pool.
SUCTION STRAINER
A tank for storing oil includes a suction strainer with first and second filtration portions. The first filtration portion has a substantially cylindrical shape and formed by bending a thin plate into a pleated shape. The second filtration portion is provided on the outer side of the first filtration portion. The second filtration portion has a substantially cylindrical shape and is formed of a material having a plurality of spaces formed in a surface and interior of the material.
Floating weir basket for use in pool skimmers
A floating weir basket (40) that eliminates the need for hinged doors on conventional fixed pool skimmers (4).
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR MOVING, REMOVING AND/OR INSTALLING ONE OR MORE COMPONENTS OF A TREATMENT UNIT
Devices and methods associated therewith for facilitating movement, removal and/or installation of components from treatment units (e.g., water treatment units and wastewater treatment units). The treatment unit can take the form of a granular media filter (e.g., upflow filter, downflow filter or bi-flow filter) or a sludge collection basin. One preferred device is one or more floats facilitating safe removal of components of a treatment unit. The float(s) can be operably associated with an air scour system of a water filter to remove the air scour system from a granular media filter bed. The float(s) can be operably associated with a collection grid of a sludge collection container facilitating safe removal of the collection grid from the sludge collection container. Another preferred device is a flexible piping/conduit operably connected to a pressurized air source and an air scour system to assist in removal/installation of the air scour system.
Floating pool skimmer
A floating pool skimmer (1) that randomly travels across the surface of a pool to ensure that the entire surface of the water in the pool is cleaned. The floating pool skimmer has an elongated hose (3) that attaches to a conventional fixed pool skimmer, a vacuum inlet and/or a vacuum hose (6) connecting an automatic pool vacuum (2) to a pool pump and filter. A basket (26) held within a main housing (8) strains water and traps debris which is held in the basket by suction from the pool filter while the pool filter is operational. When the pool filter is not running a floating weir (17) and/or one or more weir doors (30) prevents debris from floating back out of the basket and into the pool. Apertures (14) located on the main housing allow water into the main housing that then acts as a ballast to ensure the floating pool skimmer remains upright at all times.
Filter cartridge, filter assembly, and methods
A filter cartridge includes a tubular core movably oriented within an inner liner and having a projection having a flow passageway. The core is free-floating and movable between a first position, in which the core can move along a longitudinal axis of the core, and a sealed position, in which the core is sealed to an inner liner of the cartridge. In the sealed position, the flow passage through the projection can provide an air flow passage of air within an inner cavity to outside of the filter cartridge. Other arrangements include a filter cartridge with a free-floating core, which forms a fuel bypass between the core and a standpipe.
WATER RUNOFF TREATMENT APPARATUS
A water treatment apparatus includes a membrane in a contact with a soil structure, a hollow elongated member being passed through membrane and being mounted vertically within a vertical well with the bottom end of the elongated member being configured to expel treated water into the soil structure, a filtration member mounted stationary or for a linear reciprocal movement so as to filter the water prior to entry into a hollow interior of the elongated member, a trash rack positioned on the membrane and surrounding an upper portion of the elongated member and a barrier positioned adjacent and/or on said peripheral side wall of said trash rack, said barrier configured to reduce flow of the water and/or absorb a portion of the contaminant(s) prior to the water entering said filtration member.
Site drainer
A liquid transfer device is disclosed that has a fluid pump enclosed within a rigid, space enclosing housing. The pump has a strainer with strainer openings that provide a fluid connection between the pump and the inside of the housing. The strainer is located at the lower end of the pump and the housing. There are also openings in the housing that provide a fluid connection between the inside of the housing and its outer surface. The maximum size of the openings in the housing is less than the minimum size of the strainer openings so that the strainer does not clog with debris. A discharge manifold provides a fluid connection between the pump and the outside the housing. In this way fluid is drawn in through the housing openings and then the strainer before being pumped out via the discharge manifold.
Filter cartridge for a liquid such as fuel, the upper end plate of which including an automatic degassing valve
The invention relates to a filter cartridge (32) for a liquid such as fuel, said filter cartridge being intended to be positioned inside a filter housing (30) and comprising a filter media (38) defining an inner volume (V38), a lower end plate (40), and an upper end plate (42), including a liquid passage opening (O42), which communicates with the inner volume of the filter media. The upper end plate (42) includes an automatic degassing valve (50).
