RAIN OVERFLOW BASIN FOR COLLECTING AND STORING WATER
20180106029 · 2018-04-19 ·

A rain overflow basin for collecting and storing rainwater, mixed water, or wastewater, has an inflow, an outflow, a basin chamber, a basin spillway, which is equipped with a weir threshold and is connected downstream of the basin chamber. A drain discharges the basin spillway, and a purification device purifies water flowing from the basin chamber to the basin spillway. A retention wall between the basin chamber and the basin spillway dams up water accumulating in the basin chamber. Water draining from the basin chamber is dammed up in a storage space is between the retention wall and the weir threshold, to reach the basin spillway via the weir threshold. The retention wall includes a passage opening. A purification device extends into the basin chamber such that water draining from the basin chamber through the passage opening into the storage space flows through the retention element.

Oil and grit separator system with twin vortex
12134048 · 2024-11-05 ·

An oil and grit separator system having twin vortex which uses gravity providing a twin vortex effect to remove sediment and oil from contaminated water. The system is designed to control storm water runoff and reduce the annual suspended solids loading of the granulometric particles. The conception and configuration of the system has a double action vortex. It ensures an optimal treatment level in either light or heavy rain and avoids re-suspension of particles. It also removes, separates and stores floating oil without any possible re-suspension of the matter.

Apparatus and method for separating a liquid from other substances

An apparatus for separating a liquid from other substances comprises a first chamber; a second chamber; an inlet connected to the first chamber; an outlet connected to the second chamber; a bypass conduit passing from the inlet, through the first chamber, and into the second chamber; a passage between the first and second chambers and configured to allow the liquid to flow from the first chamber to the second chamber, the passage below the bypass conduit; wherein the bypass conduit comprises a first opening within the first chamber and a second opening in the second chamber; and wherein the bypass conduit is angled relative to a horizontal so that a lowest region of the second opening is higher, in relation to the horizontal, than a highest region of the first opening, such that liquid flow into the inlet, less than a treatment flow rate, flows entirely through the first opening.

Stormwater skimmer surface drain apparatus

A drainage device is provided. The device includes a novel floating surface drain or skimmer to manage draining of liquid, such as draining of water from stormwater impoundment ponds or structures.

CURB INLET FILTER
20170051491 · 2017-02-23 · ·

A curb inlet filter adapted to work in conjunction with a curb inlet comprised of permeable filter fabric fashioned generally in a V cross section, comprising an upper and lower fabric layer separated by one or more gussets. A user inserts the curb inlet filter into a curb inlet and may apply pressure to push the filter into the curb inlet causing the gussets to compress as the invention enters the curb inlet and resulting in a press fit between the gussets supporting the upper and lower permeable filter fabric layers. The compression fit retains the inlet filter into place and the curb inlet. Water may pass through the permeable filter fabric, while the permeable filter fabric prevents sediment and other unwanted debris from entering the storm water drainage system.

SEPARATING APPARATUS, FEED DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR PURIFYING A LIQUID
20250205618 · 2025-06-26 ·

A separating apparatus for purifying a liquid such as purifying rainwater. The apparatus includes a container having at least one separating area and a settling and sludge collection chamber, wherein the settling and sludge collection chamber is fluidically connected to the separating area for receiving sediments to be separated and at least one feed device for feeding the liquid to be purified having at least one liquid outlet opening into the separating area, wherein the feed device has a lower guide plate arranged during use below the liquid outlet such that a liquid flowing out of the liquid outlet is guided radially outwards through the lower guide plate in the direction of the inner wall of the container, wherein a lower gap is formed between the outer circumference of the lower guide plate and the inner wall of the container.

Systems, methods, and devices for removing contaminants from stormwater

A stormwater treatment device may include a chamber having a floor and a wall; an inlet formed in the wall that receives stormwater into an inlet side of the chamber; an outlet formed in the wall that discharges stormwater from an outlet side of the chamber; an enhanced settling device positioned in the outlet side of the chamber; a flow diverter plate in a lower portion of the chamber; and an outlet control diverter positioned proximate to the outlet. Stormwater is received by the inlet in a first flow direction, flows from the inlet side to the lower portion of the chamber in a second flow direction, flows through the enhanced settling device to an upper portion of the chamber in a third flow direction, flows through the outlet control diverter in fourth flow direction, and is discharged by the outlet in a fifth flow direction.

Multi-component weir controlled hydrodynamic separator for stormwater treatment

A method, system, and apparatus directed to an innovative approach for the treatment of stormwater utilizing hydrodynamic separator assembly designed to maximize flow movement for more efficient sediment removal and maximize clearance space within assembly to facilitate cleaning and increase storage capacity of trash, debris, and sediment.

Grow table cleaning system
12453990 · 2025-10-28 ·

A cleaning system includes a planar material beneath a soiled grow table. The planar material is non-porous except for a drain. Above the planar material is a plate layer including at least two layers of runners arranged in a grid where each successive layer is offset at an angle with respect to the grid of a previous layer. The plate layer rests upon the non-porous material. An upper layer covers the plate layer and has a plurality of holes. A roller table is provided for slideably supporting the grow table. Nozzles are positioned over the grow table and is/are interfaced to a pump for receiving and spraying liquid from the pump downwardly towards the grow table. The liquid and impurities (e.g., soil, leaves) fall to the upper layer and through the plurality of holes for cleaning and filtering the liquid before the liquid is returned to the pump.
