20230226482 · 2023-07-20 ·

Disclosed herein are systems and methods for treating air.

PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR SCRUBBING A HYDROCARBON GAS STREAM

A process for adsorbing impurities from hydrocarbon gas streams is disclosed. The process involves passing a hydrocarbon gas stream and a solid dry adsorbent under inert environment to a scrubbing chamber for adsorbing impurities from the hydrocarbon gas streams within the scrubbing chamber. The process adsorption of impurities in scrubbing chamber is carried under non-oxidative conditions to generate a clean product gas.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING MERCURY EMISSIONS FROM COAL-FIRED THERMAL PROCESSES

The present disclosure is directed to the use of elemental or speciated iodine and bromine to control total mercury emissions.

Air Decontamination And Self-Renewing Purification System Utilizing a Filter

An air purification system includes a conduit extending between an inlet and an outlet, each in fluid communication with an enclosed environment. Ambient air from the enclosed environment enters the conduit via the inlet and treated air exits the conduit and enters the enclosed environment via the outlet. The system further includes a fibrous filter disposed within the conduit and configured to treat the ambient air thereby generating the treated air, and a renewal unit disposed within the conduit and configured to renew the fibrous filter.

Vapor provision device with liquid capture

An assembly for a vapor provision device includes a vapor generator for vaporizing source liquid, a liquid conduit for delivering source liquid from a reservoir to the vapor generator, and a liquid capture element in liquid transfer contact with at least a portion of the liquid conduit between the vapor generator and a part of the liquid conduit that receives liquid from the reservoir, and including an absorbent structure providing a lower capillary force than a capillary force of the liquid conduit.

Filter, Composition and Process for Cleaning Feed and Exhaust Fluids and Method for Eliminating PFAS and other Noxious Impurities in Fluids

A fluid filter, filtering medium composition, and associated process for removing contaminants from feed and exhaust fluids used in fuel cell electricity generation, laboratories, the semiconductor and other industries to improve performance and extend useful equipment lifetimes and to clean fluids of sulfur compound contaminants, as well as to remove noxious NOx and halogen contaminants from feed and exhaust gases.

COMPOUND AIR FILTERS AND METHODS THEREOF
20170368490 · 2017-12-28 · ·

Compound air filters and methods thereof are provided for sequestering airborne contaminants including volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from air streamed through the air filters. An air filter can include a support frame having a shape and size suitable for seating the air filter within an air-filtering system. A compound filter medium can be retained within the support frame to remove the airborne contaminants and VOCs from air flowing through the air filter and the air-filtering system containing one or more of the air filters. A first media layer of the compound filter medium can be pleated with pleats and configured to exhibit a relatively high filtration efficiency and a low air pressure drop across the filter medium. A second media layer of the filter medium can be coupled to the first media layer and configured to maintain a uniform distribution of the pleats with the first media layer.

A hydrophobic adsorbent composition and process for removal of mercury from a gas phase fluid near the water and/or hydrocarbon dew point is disclosed herein.

VAPOR PROVISION DEVICE WITH LIQUID CAPTURE

An assembly for a vapor provision device includes a reservoir for storing source liquid; a liquid conduit for delivering the source liquid from the reservoir to a vapor generator for vaporizing the source liquid; and a liquid capture element in liquid transfer contact with at least a portion of the liquid conduit between the vapor generator and a part of the liquid conduit that receives liquid from the reservoir, and including an absorbent structure providing a higher capillary force than a capillary force of the reservoir.
