Modified Metal-Organic Framework (MOF) Compositions, Process of Making and Process of Use Thereof

This invention relates to modified MOF materials, methods of preparing them and processes using them. A modified MOF of the invention is modified by impregnating a MOF with an inorganic metal salt. The starting MOF contains at least one linker or ligand which contains an aryl amino group as part of its structure. These modified MOFs are able to adsorb either basic or acidic toxic industrial compounds (TIC). The modified MOFs can be used to remove TICs from various gaseous streams such as air.

Method for Removing Organic Solvent from Starch Hemostatic Microspheres
20220204652 · 2022-06-30 ·

The present invention provides a method for removing an organic solvent from starch hemostatic microspheres, comprising the following steps: 1. taking to-be-dried starch hemostatic microspheres and laying them flatly on drying trays with attention to laying them as uniformly and thinly as possible; 2. taking an adsorbent and subpackaging it into dialyzing paper bags for sealing; and 3. placing the trays and the dialyzing paper bags completed in the previous two steps on separators of a low-temperature vacuum oven in layers, setting the oven temperature at 0-20° C., then vacuumizing and keeping pressure for 15-48 hours. The method provided by the present invention can reduce organic solvent residue in the starch hemostatic microspheres to less than 0.05%, which meets the requirements of relevant standards for medical devices, thereby improving safety of products.

The present invention provides an exhaust gas purification system. In the exhaust gas purification system, a shower nozzle 20 disperses liquid toward exhaust gas 11 from an upper portion of the exhaust gas 11. The dispersed liquid is mixed with the exhaust gas 11 and thereafter, the liquid accumulates in a tank 30, and odor and oil content are dissolved by action of microorganism included in the liquid in the tank 30. The shower nozzle 20 is connected to an opening 24 horizontally provided in a nozzle pipe 23 connected to a liquid-supply pipe conduit 22. The exhaust gas purification system includes a nozzle 20N directed to a downward dispersing direction of the liquid. The nozzle 20N is placed in the nozzle pipe 23 such that a lower end 20L of the nozzle 20N is located higher than a bottom 25 of an inner wall of a pipe conduit of the nozzle pipe 23. According to this, exhaust gas including odor and oil content is purified.
