AIR FILTER HOUSING FOR AN AIR FILTER ARRANGEMENT IN A VEHICLE
The present invention relates to an air filter housing (200) for an air filter arrangement in a vehicle, the air filter housing being configured for receiving unfiltered air and outputting filtered air by passage of the air through an air filter unit (100). The air filter housing (200) forms a filter cavity (201) configured to house said air filter unit (100), and the air filter housing (200) comprises support member (300) being fixedly arranged in said filter cavity (201). The support member (300) comprises a filter holder portion (301) for holding said air filter unit (100) in a use position, in which use position the complete filter holder portion (301) is located inside said filter cavity (201). The filter holder portion (301) is movable between a retracted position being said use position, and an extended position, in which extended position at least a part of said filter holder portion (301) is located outside of said cavity (201). The invention also relates to an air filter arrangement, a method, and a vehicle.
Filter Housing for Filter Fan
A filter housing can support filter media for a fan arrangement. The filter housing can include a filter body with a first opening at a first end and a second opening at a second end. A bell portion can be disposed between the air inlet opening and the air outlet opening and can define a cavity within the housing body. An air-permeable filter support can extend into the cavity to support the filter media within the cavity, with the filter media spaced apart from at least one of the first and second openings.
Fluoropolymer article for bacterial filtration
A filtration article including a composite filtration structure, a seal region positioned within the composite filtration structure, and an attachment weld that interconnects the seal region and an outer casing is provided. The composite filtration structure includes a stacked filter material including at least two fluoropolymer membranes and a support layer. The support layer may be formed of a thermoplastic or thermoset polymer. When heated, the polymer in the support layer melts and flows into the fluoropolymer membranes. In exemplary embodiments, the polymer is imbibed through the thickness of the fluoropolymer membranes. The attachment weld may be positioned at any location within the seal region so long as the attachment weld is positioned a distance from the outer periphery of the composite filtration structure. The filtration article is small in size, is lightweight, and may be used as a sterilizing grade filter. Methods of producing the filtration article also provided.
Methods for Making Compound Particles
Compositions are provided that include having at least 95% by weight of a taxane, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, where the particles have a mean bulk density between about 0.050 g/cm.sup.3 and about 0.15 g/cm.sup.3, and/or a specific surface area (SSA) of at least 18 m.sup.2/g, 20 m.sup.2/g, 25 m.sup.2/g, 30 m.sup.2/g, 32 m.sup.2/g, 34 m.sup.2/g, or 35 m.sup.2/g. Methods for making and using such compositions are also provided.
FACEMASK FILTER ASSEMBLY
A facemask filter assembly including a layer of air filter material configured to fit inside of a surgical-type facemask. The filter assembly further including a strip of compressible foam that is coupled to the layer of air filter material near the edge (e.g., perimeter, periphery) of the layer of air filter material. The strip of compressible foam can extend around the entire perimeter of the layer of air filter material except for a gap at the midline of the upper edge of the layer of air filter material where the strip of compressible foam is absent creating a space to accommodate the nose of the user.
Process and materials using z-filter media, and/or, closing flutes of filter media; and, products
Approaches to providing z-filter media constructions are provided. Preferred media, filter constructions having such media, and filter systems using such filter constructions are provided. Also, preferred methods of forming filter constructions are provided.
FILTER CARTRIDGES; AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLIES; HOUSINGS; FEATURES; COMPONENTS; AND, METHODS
According to the present disclosure, features, components and techniques useable for providing air cleaner arrangements are provided. Many of the features relate to an axial seal arrangement provided on a filter cartridge. A typical filter cartridge, for use with these features, is a filter cartridge having opposite flow ends. Example media arrangements that fit this characterization are described. Seal arrangements provided with an axial housing sealing engagement surface are shown. A seal arrangement is provided. Also, air cleaner assemblies having advantageous features therein are provided. Further, air cleaner housings are described, with selected, preferred features for engagement with filter cartridges.
HOUSING FOR FILTER ELEMENT; FILTER ELEMENT; METHODS OF USE AND MAKING
A filter assembly includes a filter head and filter cartridge. The filter cartridge includes a housing and element. The housing includes a can with an open mouth. An interface ring is secured to the can adjacent to the open mouth. The outer ring surface is against the inner wall of the can. The ring wall is angled between the first and second ends greater than one degree and less than 6 degrees. Methods of filtering and making the housing are provided.
Draining and sealing device for mist eliminators
The present patent of invention application refers to a draining and sealing device (1), belonging to the field of forward flow or reverse flow mist eliminators or polygonal plate systems used in various industries, which consist of a tubular body (10) formed by an optional upper portion (11) comprising a cover e having a closed upper end (12) and radial drainage openings (13); an intermediate attachment portion comprising a thread (14) or welding ring (15) or flange (16); and a lower tubular portion (17) provided with a lower end having drainage holes (18); said drainage and sealing device (1) also being formed by a body of drainage and sealing fibers (20) housed in the lower tubular portion (17) that provides drainage of the collected liquid and sealing against the countercurrent circulation of mist-containing gas; said drainage and sealing device (1) may have the tubular body (10) without no upper portion (11).
