Clutched driveline for wings on flex wing cutter
A flex wing cutter is equipped with a splitter gearbox and a plurality of drivelines. Each driveline is coupled to the splitter gearbox via a clutch assembly, and supplies power to a drive gearbox and cutting blade assembly on a wing of the flex wing cutter. Each clutch assembly is equipped to an actuator, the actuator configured to selectively engage or disengage the driveline from receiving rotational power from the splitter gearbox. Each actuator can be remotely controlled from a control located in a cab of a towing vehicle, such as a tractor, allowing an operator of the flex wing cutter to remotely deactivate the cutting blade assemblies of either or both wings of a flex wing cutter.
FOLDABLE CORN HEAD
An agricultural vehicle including a chassis, at least one power take off member, and a folding header operably coupled to the agricultural vehicle and supported by the chassis. The folding header includes a center section operably coupled to the chassis of the agricultural vehicle. The center section includes a pair of lateral ends and at least one drive assembly operably coupled to the at least one power take off member of the agricultural vehicle. The folding header also includes at least one additional section pivotally coupled to one of the lateral ends of the center section and operably coupled to the at least one drive assembly. The at least one additional section is selectively pivotable between an operational position and a nonoperational position. The center section is configured to harvest a crop material in both of the operational position and nonoperational position of the at least one additional section.
Variator for work vehicle drivetrain
A high efficiency work vehicle drivetrain contains a variator having an inline dual planetary configuration. The work vehicle drivetrain includes an engine, an auxiliary power takeoff (PTO) shaft coupled to the engine and rotatable about a primary power path axis when driven by the engine, and the variator assembly. The variator assembly includes a variator motor and a variator gearbox. The variator gearbox contains a planetary gear system, which is coupled to the variator motor and to the auxiliary PTO shaft. The planetary gear system is rotatable about a planetary axis, which is coaxial with the primary power path axis.
COTTON HARVESTER POWER MANAGEMENT
A cotton harvester having a prime mover providing power to the cotton harvester, a controller monitoring a load on the prime mover and storing a load threshold, a drum rotatable about a first axis at a drum speed, a plurality of spindles for harvesting cotton, the plurality of spindles rotatable at a spindle speed and a doffer assembly rotatable about a second axis at a duffer speed. Wherein, when the controller detects a load on the prime mover greater than the load threshold, the spindle speed is reduced.
Variator for work vehicle drivetrain
High efficiency work vehicle drivetrains containing variator assemblies are provided. In one embodiment, the work vehicle drivetrain includes an engine, a variator assembly, and an auxiliary power takeoff (PTO) shaft, which is coupled to the engine and rotatable about a primary power path axis when driven by the engine. The variator assembly includes, in turn, a variator motor and a variator gearbox. The variator gearbox contains a planetary gear system, which is coupled to the variator motor and to the auxiliary PTO shaft. The planetary gear system is rotatable about a planetary axis substantially parallel and offset from the primary power path axis.
Kill switch
A kill switch including a switch assembly. When the switch assembly moves from a switch first configuration to a switch second configuration with the switch assembly operatively connected to a controller of a tractor, a kill electrical signal is provided to the controller to stop the tractor powering a power take-off thereof. A cord is securable to the switch assembly and to the piece of machinery to extend along a rotary drive shaft between the tractor and the piece of machinery. A switch actuating element extends from the cord, the switch actuating element being removably securable to the switch assembly. In the switch first configuration with the switch actuating element secured to the switch assembly, the switch actuating element maintains the switch assembly in the switch first configuration. When the switch actuating element is removed from the actuating element receiving portion, the switch assembly moves to the switch second configuration.
VEHICLE WITH DEBRIS BLOWER AND LAWN MOWER
A riding vehicle may include a blower assembly, a mower deck, and a power source. The blower assembly may be configured to direct air from an air inlet to at least one air outlet to move surface debris. The mower deck may be configured to cut a lawn formed of grass or other vegetation. The blower assembly may be configured to direct air to an interior space of the mower deck for assisted discharge of cuttings.
Agricultural machine comprising an improved device for controlling a shield
An agricultural machine including at least one working tool which can be driven by a drive mechanism which can have a variable drive speed, at least one movable shield which can be moved at least between operational and non-operational positions, and a device for moving the at least one shield, including at least one adjusting actuator and a device for locking the shield. The movement device includes a circuit for controlling the actuator which includes the locking device, which circuit automatically converts a variable input quantity into a control quantity which can adopt a first control value used to prevent the adjusting actuator from being moved out of a first configuration, the input quantity being a value which is a function of or dependent on the drive speed of the drive mechanism or on the working speed of the at least one tool.
MULCHING APPARATUS FOR A LAWNMOWER
A mulching apparatus for attachment to a lawnmower includes a cutting assembly separate from the mower blades, wherein the grass clippings are finely cut and then dispersed onto the ground surface. A spreader assembly receives the mulched grass clippings from the cutting assembly and disperses the mulched grass clippings onto a ground surface. Optionally, the mulching apparatus includes a feeder assembly to facilitate supplying grass clippings to the cutting assembly.
Agricultural baling machines
An agricultural baling machine including: a frame; a connection point for attaching to a towing vehicle; a plunger in a bale-forming chamber; a driveline for taking power from the towing vehicle and causing reciprocal rectilinear motion of the plunger in the bale-forming chamber, wherein the driveline includes a transmission; and a drawbar assembly that provides a mechanical link between the connection point and the frame. The drawbar assembly includes a transmission mounting member that provides a mechanical connection between the transmission and the frame.
