Cold water collector saponification method
A cold water saponification method is disclosed. The method is for preferred use in industrial applications such as mining operations wherein saponification of fatty acids is required. Broadly, the method comprises the steps of filling a tank with a solution comprising water, a base and fatty acids, installing a mixer capable of creating a vortex in order to effectively saponify fatty acid particles. The use of a high-shear mixer installed vertically has been proven successful in saponifying fatty acids in cold water.
FLUID DELIVERY MODULE
Apparatuses for controlling fluid flow are important components for delivering process fluids for semiconductor fabrication. These apparatuses for controlling fluid flow are formed with a variety of fluid flow components, including fluid flow components for mixing fluid flows. Fluid flow components for mixing flows utilize mixing elements configured to receive flows of two or more process fluid flows via fluid inlets, mix the fluid flow within the mixing element, and deliver mixed fluid to a down-stream fluid flow component or an outlet of an apparatus for controlling fluid flow.

Ultrafine bubble generator
A fine bubble generator which is an ultrafine bubble generator includes a side wall whose inner face is cylindrical, and closing walls closing both ends of the side wall, respectively, with a gas-liquid discharge port in one of the closing walls, wherein a fluid inlet port is provided closer to the gas-liquid discharge port than is a midpoint between both closing walls, and the fluid inlet port penetrates the side wall in a tangential direction of the inner face of the side wall, wherein a spiral groove is formed in the inner face of side wall, and wherein the spiral groove has an angle of inclination of 1° to 10°.
A FLUID MIXER AND A METHOD FOR MIXING FLUIDS
A fluid mixer for a reactor of a hydrocarbon processing plant includes a substantially cylindrical mixing chamber, at least one first inlet for conducting first fluid to the mixing chamber from above the mixing chamber and along a side wall of the mixing chamber to produce a spiral stream in the mixing chamber, at least one second inlet for conducting second fluid tangentially into the spiral stream, and an outlet channel for conducting the first and second fluids downwards out from the mixing chamber. The outlet channel is concentric to the mixing chamber and includes a mixing structure for enhancing mixing of the first and second fluids. At least a part of the mixing structure is located below an upper edge of the outlet channel and produces turbulence in a stream of the first and second fluids flowing in the outlet channel.
MIXING DEVICE
The invention generally relates to a mixing device. In certain embodiments, devices of the invention include a fluidic inlet, a fluidic outlet, and a chamber, the chamber being configured to produce a plurality of fluidic vortexes within the chamber.
Exhaust system with mixer
A mixing chamber for mixing an additive in an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine includes a housing, a flow-guiding element and a downstream substrate. The flow-guiding element is arranged within the housing between an inlet opening and an outlet opening. The flow-guiding element is tubular and forms a channel including a channel wall, one inlet and one outlet, via which all of the exhaust gas is guided through the channel to the outlet.
