Said valve comprises a valve body and a valve rod which extends partially in said valve body and which is axially movable between a closed rearward position of the valve and an open forward position of the valve. The axial valve seat comprises a proximal recirculation portion, which communicates fluidically with a recirculation duct, and a distal dispenser portion in fluidic communication with a dispenser duct.
CHEMICAL LIQUID PREPARATION METHOD OF PREPARING A CHEMICAL LIQUID FOR SUBSTRATE PROCESSING, CHEMICAL LIQUID PREPARATION UNIT PREPARING A CHEMICAL LIQUID FOR SUBSTRATE PROCESSING, AND SUBSTRATE PROCESSING SYSTEM
A substrate processing system includes a chemical liquid preparation unit preparing a chemical liquid to be supplied to a substrate and a processing unit which supplies the chemical liquid, prepared by the chemical liquid preparation unit, to the substrate. The chemical liquid preparation unit supplies an oxygen-containing gas, containing oxygen gas, to a TMAH-containing chemical liquid, containing TMAH (tetramethylammonium hydroxide), to make the oxygen-containing gas dissolve in the TMAH-containing chemical liquid.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REDUCTION OF AIR INGESTION DURING MIXING
A mixing tank is disclosed for reducing ingestion across an interface. The tank may include a first zone including most of the volume of the tank; a second zone including the interface; a source of mixing energy configured to provide a first bulk energy dissipation rate in the first zone; a divider located between said first zone and said second zone inhibiting transfer of said mixing energy from said first zone to said second zone to preserve in said second zone a bulk power dissipation level less than a said first bulk power dissipation level; and a mass transport passageway between said first zone and said second zone for preserving a uniformity between the first and second zones. A method is disclosed for manufacturing a mixing tank and for retrofitting and existing mixing tank and for managing mixing to prevent air ingestion.
METHOD OF PREPARING AN EMULSION, A DEVICE FOR PREPARING SAID EMULSION , AND A VEHICLE
A method and device of preparing an emulsion comprising a first liquid and a second liquid, said method comprising the step of dispersing the first liquid into the second liquid, characterized in that the method comprises: passing the first liquid through an injection nozzle (108) for creating a spray of droplets of the first liquid, and injecting thus created droplets of first liquid into the second liquid such that Q, where Q is equal to the square of the speed of the droplets, is at least 225 m.sup.2/s.sup.2; wherein W, wherein W is sg*Q*d divided by St with sg being the specific gravity of the first liquid in kg/m.sup.3, d being the mean Sauter droplet diameter in meter of the spray leaving the injection nozzle in air, and St being the surface tension of the first liquid in Newton/meter; is at least 250 kg*m/N*s.sup.2.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING LIPOSOME AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING LIPOSOME
Disclosed herein are a method for producing a liposome which is capable of reducing the facility costs and also capable of rapid desolvation, and an apparatus for producing a liposome which is for use in the above-mentioned method. Provided is a method for producing a liposome, including a stirring step of stirring a mixed liquid containing an oil phase in which at least one lipid is dissolved in an organic solvent and a water phase, and an evaporating step of evaporating an organic solvent from the mixed liquid, in which the condensed organic solvent is removed by passing a gas having a temperature not higher than the dew point of the solvent in the evaporating step.
Fluid mixing and dispensing system
A system for mixing a first fluid with one or more additional fluids to create a mixed fluid and for dispensing the mixed fluid is disclosed. The dispensing system includes a mixing tank; a first pump for the first fluid; a second pump for a second fluid; and a sensor positioned adjacent the mixing tank wherein the sensor outputs a signal based on a force exerted by the mixing tank in a direction toward the sensor. A controller of the system execute a program to: (i) receive the signal from the sensor, and (ii) operate the first pump for a first time period and operate the second pump for a second time period based on the signal from the sensor such that the first fluid and the second fluid are delivered to the mixing tank before being delivered to a storage tank for dispensing the mixed fluids.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING LIPOSOME AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING LIPOSOME
Disclosed herein are a method for producing a miniaturized liposome on a large production scale, and an apparatus for producing a liposome which is to be used in the above-mentioned method. Provided is a method for producing a liposome, including a step of stirring a mixture containing an oil phase in which at least one lipid is dissolved in an organic solvent and a water phase in a first tank of an apparatus having the first tank and a circulation path, in which the ratio of the capacity of the circulation path to the total capacity of the tank and the circulation path is 0.4 or less and/or the time required for the mixture to return to the first tank after being discharged therefrom is within 2.0 minutes.
Ultrafine bubble generating method, ultrafine bubble generating apparatus, and ultrafine bubble-containing liquid
Provided is an UFB generating apparatus and an UFB generating method capable of efficiently generating an UFB-containing liquid with high purity. The ultrafine bubble generating apparatus includes a generating unit that generates ultrafine bubbles in a liquid and a post-processing unit that performs predetermined post-processing on the ultrafine bubble-containing liquid generated by the generating unit. The generating unit generates the ultrafine bubbles by causing a heating element, which is provided in the liquid on which the pre-processing is performed, to generate heat to generate film boiling on an interface between the liquid and the heating element.
