Hanging Stack and Rolling Rack
20210212457 · 2021-07-15 ·

A method for installing a set of drawers under the counter-top in the blind corner of kitchen cabinets. The stack of drawers is attached to a rack and hung from little wheel-cars in tracks. To access any of the drawers the door of the adjacent cabinet is opened and the stack is rolled sideways into borrowed space temporarily made available there. The drawers can then be pulled open. When finished the drawers are closed and the stack rolled back. Unlike existing products, this design's mechanisms permanently occupy very little of the adjacent space, only the top 3. The rest is only borrowed. The flooring of this space is regular kitchen floor. It can be occupied by anything that can be easily moved out temporarily when corner access is needed.

A shelf assembly includes a first shelf unit having a first shelf coupleable to a first vertical support post and a second vertical support post to present a first support surface. A second shelf unit includes a second shelf coupleable to a third vertical support post and a fourth vertical support post to present a second support surface. A third shelf unit includes a third shelf coupleable to a fifth vertical support post and a sixth vertical support post to present a third support surface. A first bridge includes a first support surface and a second bridge includes a second support surface. The first bridge and the second bridge are configured such that in an assembled state of the shelving system a support surface spans an arc of 90 degrees between the first shelf and the second shelf.

A container is described herein that is configured to be mounted between joists in a substrate of a structure, such as a floor, wall, or ceiling. The container includes a body portion sized to be disposed between the joists and a lid to cover an opening to the body. The lid can further be configured to be coplanar with a covering material of the substrate so that the container does not project outwardly from the substrate.

Corner cabinet fitting for the gearwheel- controlled movable mounting of a shelf in a corner cabinet

A corner cabinet fitting (1) for movably mounting of a shelf (34) in a corner cabinet (37) has a bearing pedestal (7), a supporting arm (8) which is mounted on the bearing pedestal (7) so as to be pivotable in a first pivoting movement about a first vertical pivot axis (9), a shelf carrier (10) which is mounted on the supporting arm (8) so as to be pivotable in a second pivoting movement about a second vertical pivot axis (11), and a coupling mechanism which couples the second pivoting movement to the first pivoting movement. The coupling mechanism comprises a first rolling element (24) and a second rolling elements (22), which roll on one another directly or via a belt or a chain, the first rolling element (24) being coupled to the bearing pedestal (7) and the second rolling element (22) being coupled to the shelf carrier.

A cabinet (1) with a containment space (2), shelves (9) contained in the containment space (2), an access opening (3) to the containment space (2) and a moving mechanism (4) for moving the shelves (9) through said opening (3); wherein said moving mechanism (4) comprises a first arm (5) and a second arm (6), which are sustained by the cabinet (1), cantilever-style, inside the containment space (2), and rotatably about a vertical line (V), said first arm (5) and second arm (6) in turn sustaining a related shelf (9) in a condition in which it can rotate, turning about at least one vertical line (V); at least the second arm (6) of said arms (5, 6) being provided with two component segments (10, 11), converging at an interposed articulated joint (12); and control and guiding means (13) for coordination of the movement of said first arm (5) and second arm (6) which are designed to allow the shelf (9) to travel along a horizontal trajectory with variable orientation of its positioning, in such a way as to pass through the access opening (3) of said cabinet (1). The control and guiding means (13) comprise a double slider (14) and a double track (16) relative to which said double slider (14) is movable, said sliders (14) and said tracks (16) being constantly coupled to one another, and operatively positioned between said first arm (5) and second arm (6).

Tray table assembly with automatic centering during stowage

A tray table assembly adapted to move to and from a stowed position in a stowage module positioned to one side of a passenger seat. The assembly includes an arcuate rail movably mounted in the stowage module, a tray table mounted on the rail for arcuate movement along the rail between the stowed position and the deployed position relative to the rail, and also mounted on the rail for fore and aft translating movement in the deployed position. The tray table rides on an arcuate rail that permits both deployment and fore and aft movement of the tray table, and automatically centers the tray table during movement toward the stowed position.

HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE, IN PARTICULAR A REFRIGERATOR OR A FREEZER OR A FURNITURE ITEM COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE SHELF

A household appliance, in particular a refrigerator or a freezer or a furniture item comprising at least one storage space, in which a support plate is positioned comprising a storage area and a shelf which can be rotationally and translationally moved on the storage area of the support plate, wherein: the shelf comprises a flat storage area which is oriented plane-parallel to the storage area of the support element; the shelf can be rotated relative to the support plate in a first rotational direction and can be displaced in a predefined direction; mutually facing bearing surfaces of the storage areas each have closed peripheral raceway grooves in which rolling elements are guided; the raceway grooves are formed such that, when a force is applied to the shelf in a direction defined in the plane of the storage area, the shelf can be moved, in a movement which is at least partially forcibly guided and which is simultaneously rotational and translational, from a base position into an intermediary position, the shelf being rotated relative to the support plate in one of two possible opposing rotational directions and being displaced in a predefined direction; and the shelf, after being moved into the intermediary position, can be further rotated relative to the support plate in the one of two possible opposing rotational directions and can be displaced counter to the predefined direction and, when rotated by 180, resumes the base position.

The invention relates to a rack for a cabinet, preferably a corner cabinet, comprising at least two shelves, which can be rotated about an axis and can be slid transversely to the axis. The shelves can be operated independently of each other, can be arranged one over the other, and can be slid on shelf supports. The shelves are mounted on the shelf supports in such a way that rotation by 360 is enabled. Each shelf not mounted on a bottom of the cabinet is mounted on at least one support, which can be fastened to a stable wall in a rear region of the cabinet and is arranged in such a way that the height of the support can be varied.
