Liquid mixing system with vertically adjustable mixing element and method of use
A liquid mixing system includes a support housing at least partially bounding a compartment. A mount is secured to the support housing. A drive motor assembly is configured to engage a drive shaft for moving the drive shaft within the compartment of the support housing. A four bar linkage system extends between the mount and the drive motor assembly, the four bar linkage system being movable between a first position wherein the drive motor assembly is disposed at a first elevation and a second position wherein the drive motor assembly is disposed at a second elevation that is different from the first elevation.
Integrated closure-stirrer cookware device
An integrated closure-stirrer cookware device for stirring while the closure is attached to the cookware includes a pot having an open top. An outer lid, which is complementary to the open top, is reversibly couplable to the pot. The outer lid is not rotatable relative to the pot. An opening, which is circular, is positioned in the outer lid. An inner lid, which is complementary to the opening, is sealably and rotatably coupled to the outer lid. The inner lid is rotatable relative to the outer lid. A stirrer that has a top end and a working end is positioned through a penetration positioned in the inner lid. The penetration is positioned proximate to a perimeter of the inner lid. The working end extends transversely from a bottom of the inner lid. A vent is positioned through the outer lid such that steam escaping through the vent is directed away from the inner lid.
Fluid mixing system with drive shaft steady support
A fluid mixing system includes a flexible bag having an interior surface bounding a compartment. A retainer is coupled to the flexible bag, the retainer having a retention cavity formed thereon that communicates with the compartment of the flexible bag. An elongated tubular connector has a first end coupled to the flexible bag and an opposing second end projecting into the compartment thereof. An impeller is disposed within flexible bag and is coupled with the tubular connector. A steady support is mounted on the second end of the tubular connector and terminates at a distal nose, the distal nose being freely disposed within the retention cavity of the retainer so that the steady support can rotate within the retention cavity relative to the retainer.
Mixer assembly apparatus and method
A mixing apparatus and system includes a hub, a plurality of blades, and a respective hinge for each blade to pivotally secure each blade to the hub. Each hinge including a lock having a tab and a detent to secure the respective blade in an operating conformation.
Integrating radiation collection and detection apparatus
An apparatus for collecting and integrating radiation is disclosed. In embodiments, the apparatus comprises a shell configured to at least partially surround a sample container having a liquid sample contained therein. The liquid sample can comprise one or more liquids. The shell includes one or more inner surfaces with suitable reflectance for causing radiation that is at least one of scattered, reflected, diffracted, refracted, or radiated from one or more particles within the liquid sample to be redirected within the shell until the radiation is received by a detector.
Universal bridge and wall mounted aeration apparatus
A universal wall and bridge mounted aeration apparatus has a track extending between two distinct elevations that is coupled to a wall and bridge mount. An aeration unit is pivotally coupled to the track and has an aerator adapted to operatively at least partially submerge within and aerate a liquid. A selective mover or drive is adapted to operatively move the aeration unit along the track and thereby vary an elevation of the aeration unit. The universal wall and bridge mount supports the track and aeration unit. The universal wall and bridge mount has a first configuration for mounting to a structure such as a stationary bridge, and a second configuration for mounting to a wall. The universal wall and bridge mounted aeration apparatus may be adjusted to position the propeller after installation under the surface of the liquid through three axes of motion freedom.
Method for treating animal waste
Methods and apparatus for the treatment of animal waste are disclosed, together with a treated animal waste and fertilizer and growth media products derived therefrom.
Method for transportation and agitation of refinery solids waste
A method of transporting solid refinery waste includes loading solid refinery waste into a mobile tank having at least one sloped floor wall and a plurality of compartments separated by at least one buffer. The method may also include maintaining a head space between a top level of the solid refinery waste and a top wall of the mobile tank. The method may also include delivering the mobile tank to a burning facility that maintains a reserve of diluent and that is equipped with an agitator configured for lowering into the mobile tank through a manhole opening, to thereby permit the diluent to be conveyed into the headspace and mixed with the solid refinery waste, thereby enabling a resulting mixture to be off-loaded for burning at the burning facility.
STIRRED TANK REACTOR SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF USE
A reactor system includes a support housing having an interior surface bounding a chamber, the chamber having a vertically extending central longitudinal axis. A flexible bag is disposed within the chamber of the support housing and has an interior surface bounding a compartment. A mixing element is disposed within the compartment of the flexible bag. A drive element, such as a drive shaft, is secured the mixing element, wherein the mixing element is laterally offset from and/or is angled relative to the vertically extending central longitudinal axis of the support housing.
AUTOMATED SYSTEM TO ASSOCIATE AN AGITATOR WITH A RESPECTIVE CONTAINER FOR CONTAINING FLUID AND METHOD THEREOF
An automated system associates an agitator with a respective container for containing fluid, such as paint. The system includes a plurality of agitators; a storage area where the plurality of agitators are arranged; a moving device for moving the agitators at least between the storage area and the container; and a control system for controlling and coordinating the operations of the system. The agitators include a locking mechanism for removably fixing the agitator to the respective container.
