Mixing elements for static mixer utilizing mixing low- to high-viscosity components are provided and comprise a planar central part extending along a longitudinal axis L and having front and rear faces, wherein arranged on the front and/or rear face are at least two flow-influencing elements that each surround at least one through-opening located in the central part and that are each in the form of prism lateral surfaces that are substantially perpendicular to the front and/or rear face, wherein pairs of the elements overlap or are connected to one another at a lateral edge. Static mixers comprising the mixing element and methods for mixing low- to high-viscosity components with the static mixers are also provided.

The present disclosure relates to a mixer having a mixer housing which encloses a mixing chamber, an input part which can be connected to the mixer housing and has at least two input openings for the components to be mixed, and a mixing element, at least some sections of which extend into the mixing chamber, wherein each of the input openings is flow-connected to the mixing chamber via at least one input duct, wherein there is also in the input part at least one compensation duct which connects the input openings to each other, and/or at least one holding chamber is provided in the mixing element.

A syringe for multi-component materials includes a mixer housing, a mixing element, a multi-component cartridge and a mixing head, the mixing head being arranged at least partly within the mixer housing and adjacent to the multi-component cartridge. The mixing head is arranged moveable in an axial direction of the syringe between at least two positions, the at least two positions including a sealed position and a dispensing position. The axial movement of the mixing head is brought about by rotation of at least a part of the mixer housing relative to the multi-component cartridge. The mixing head is axially displaced in a direction opposite to a dispensing direction on a displacement of the mixing head from the sealed position into the dispensing position.

A mixing element for a static mixer for installation into a tubular mixer housing has a longitudinal axis along which at least one first and one second installation body are arranged behind one another. An inlet element is provided which is arranged upstream of the first installation body, wherein the inlet element and the first installation body are connected to one another via a connection element. The inlet element has a body which can be sealingly taken up at the peripheral side in the mixer housing. The body has a first inlet passage and a second inlet passage, wherein the first inlet passage has a first entry opening and a first exit opening, wherein the second inlet passage has a second entry opening and a second exit opening so that the corresponding component can be conducted through the corresponding inlet passage.

The chamber and closing parts mount against each other in a rotationally symmetric manner and the closing part has substantially parallel planes, wherein a first plane averts a rotor, a second plane faces the rotor, a first inlet opening and a passage opening form a linear duct, and the substantially parallel planes form a feeding duct. Dimensions of the feeding duct are variable depending on a relative rotationally symmetric position of the chamber and closing parts, wherein the dimensions include a length, a width and/or height, and a partial circle is formable by the feeding duct and may enclose an angle of 20-170 degrees depending on the relative rotationally symmetric position of the chamber and closing parts.
