FLUIDIZED BED REACTOR AND METHOD FOR RECOVERING ACTIVE METAL OF LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY UTILIZING SAME
A fluidized bed reactor according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a reactor body, and a dispersion plate coupled to a bottom portion of the reactor body. The dispersion plate may include a base plate and injection columns protruding from a top surface of the base plate. The injection columns include first injection columns arranged at a central portion of the dispersion plate, and second injection columns arranged at a peripheral portion of the dispersion plate. The second injection column has a greater height than a height of the first injection column. A reactive gas is uniformly injected to a wall surface of the reactor through the dispersion plate, thereby increasing a recovery ratio for an active metal of a lithium secondary battery.
Multi-reactor slurry polymerization process
A slurry polymerization process for the preparation of polyethylene in a reactor cascade of two or more polymerization reactors wherein monomers are polymerized in the polymerization reactors which include a reactor outlet arranged in each reactor bottom for feeding a reactor slurry to a subsequent polymerization reactor and for emptying the polymerization reactor.
COMBINED TREATMENT DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SURFACE MODIFICATION OF FUMED SILICA
The present disclosure relates to a combined treatment method for surface modification of fumed silica, which comprises the following steps: (1) two sets of modification devices are used to jointly treat fumed silica; the fumed silica is modified with a modifier in the reaction furnace of each set of modification devices to obtain two groups of modified fumed silica and exhaust gas respectively; (2) the exhaust gas obtained in step (1) is separated respectively to obtain unreacted modifier and by-products, and the obtained by-products are input into the reaction furnace of the other set of modification devices as reaction assistants to participate in the modification reaction; and the obtained unreacted modifiers are returned to the reaction furnace of the original modification device for repeated use.
Providing carbon dioxide by means of oxygen-based combustion
A method for preparing a carbonaceous product includes providing oxygen, in particular from electrolysis, and providing a fuel. The method also includes combusting the fuel with the oxygen by an oxy-fuel combustion process in order to provide energy, purifying a flue gas produced by the oxy-fuel combustion process, and separating carbon dioxide from the flue gas produced by the oxy-fuel combustion process, wherein energy provided by the oxy-fuel combustion process includes, in particular exclusively, heat which is used as process heat for purifying and/or for synthesising or providing the carbonaceous product. A corresponding system is designed to carry out the described method.
Riser extension apparatus and process
In an apparatus for fluid catalytic cracking a riser having a top and a bottom for fluidizing and cracking a hydrocarbon feed stream by contact with catalyst exits an outlet at the top of the riser. A downer in communication with the outlet of the riser receives cracked hydrocarbon product and catalyst. A swirl duct in communication with the downer has a discharge opening below the outlet for discharging said cracked hydrocarbon product and catalyst. A stream of hydrocarbon feed and a catalyst is passed upwardly in a riser. A stream of gaseous hydrocarbon products and catalyst is directedly downwardly and then the stream of gaseous hydrocarbon products and catalyst are directed to flow in an angular direction to separate gaseous hydrocarbon products from the catalyst.
INDUSTRIAL SCALE ENDOTHERMIC PILOT PLANT SYSTEM
The invention relates to an integrated process for assessing one or more properties of a catalyst. In the method, a standard chemical reactor or reactors is/are provided, and a bypass means is also provided, to transport a sample of whatever is added to the industrial reactor, to the test reactor. Both gases and liquids are transferred to the test reactor.

APPARATUS FOR DISTRIBUTING FEED WITH A CLUSTER OF ORIFICES ON A SIDE OF THE DISTRIBUTOR
An apparatus comprising a feed distributor comprising a side cluster of orifices instead of or in combination with an end cluster of orifices for distributing hydrocarbon feed into a catalyst stream. A side cluster of orifices in conjunction with an end cluster of orifices on a feed distributor can distribute hydrocarbon feed into a riser over a greater cross-sectional extent enabling emission of smaller droplet sizes which provide better conversion with less coke production.
Polymerization process including discharging polyolefin particles from a gas-phase polymerization reactor
A process for preparing an olefin polymer, including the steps of forming a particulate olefin polymer in a gas-phase polymerization reactor in the presence of a C.sub.3-C.sub.5 alkane as polymerization diluent, separating discharged polyolefin particles from concomitantly discharged gas at a pressure from 1 to 2.2 MPa, degassing the polyolefin particles at a pressure from 0.1 to 0.4 MPa with a gas made from or containing a C.sub.3-C.sub.5 alkane; and transferring the separated gas and the gas from the degassing to a work-up unit operated at a pressure from 0.001 to 0.2 MPa below the pressure of the separation, wherein the gas for degassing is continuously received from the work-up unit.
Regulatory controller for usage in a catalytic olefins unit
An advanced regulatory controller for a converter of a catalytic olefins unit is disclosed. A Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) type converter (i.e., reactor-regenerator) is combined with an ethylene style cold-end for product recovery. The regulatory controller operates using an Advanced Regulatory Control (ARC) application using variables, such as a controlled variable, four disturbance variables, associated variable, and a manipulated variable. The ARC application manipulates fuel oil or tail gas flow to a regenerator in response to an expected future steady state value of a regenerator bed temperature resulting from changes in the values of a selected set of the variables.
