Methods and apparatus for compact and easily maintainable waste reformation. Some embodiments include a rotary oven reformer adapted and configured to provide synthesis gas from organic waste. Some embodiments include a rotary oven with simplified operation both as to reformation of the waste, usage of the synthesized gas and other products, and easy removal of the finished waste products, preferably in a unit of compact size for use in austere settings. Yet other embodiments include Fischer-Tropsch reactors of synthesized gas. Some of these reactors include heat exchanging assemblies that provide self-cleaning effects, efficient utilization of waste heat, and ease of cleaning.

A continuous synthesis system of urea, including: a reactor, a mixing buffer tank for accommodating a first raw material, a feeding pump for pumping the first raw material to the reactor, a pressure regulating valve connected to the reactor to transfer a second raw material and regulate a pressure of the second raw material, a first heat exchanger connected to the reactor to regulate a temperature inside the reactor to a first preset temperature, and a back pressure valve connected to an end of the reactor away from the feeding pump to maintain a pressure of the continuous synthesis system at a preset pressure. The second raw material is gaseous. The second raw material is fed to the reactor through the pressure regulating valve to react with the first raw material in the reactor to generate a target product.

A process for making an oligonucleotide, the process including reacting a oligonucleotide precursor with a solid phase support within a reaction vessel, the reaction vessel being coupled to an actuator and having a resting position and inverting the reaction vessel via the actuator such that the reaction vessel is inverted relative to the resting position, wherein the inversion of the reaction vessel results in stirring of the solid phase support within the reaction vessel.

Decomposition reactor for pyrolysis of hydrocarbon feedstock
A multi-stage decomposition reactor and method for thermochemical decomposition (pyrolysis, cracking, direct decomposition) of a hydrocarbon feedstock of various compositions that may include mixtures. The feedstock in a supply flow passing through a heating stage is activated by raising its temperature to a decomposition temperature, dependent on the nature of the feedstock. The physical length of the heating stage and a velocity of flow once activated are tuned such that a heating residence time of the flow is shorter than an average decomposition onset time at the decomposition temperature (e.g., before 1% or more feedstock decomposition). The heating stage is followed by a decomposition stage that supports a decomposition residence time that is longer than the average decomposition onset time. A molten material can be present in the decomposition stage that can be rotated to facilitate mopping up of carbon depositions.

METHOD AND REACTOR FOR PRODUCING ONE OR MORE PRODUCTS
A feedstock gas, such as natural gas, is introduced into a mixing chamber. A combustible gas is introduced into a combustion chamber, for example simultaneously to the introduction of the feedstock gas. Thereafter, the combustible gas is ignited so as to cause the combustible gas to flow into the mixing chamber via one or more fluid flow paths between the combustion chamber and the mixing chamber, and to mix with the feedstock gas. The mixing of the combustible gas with the feedstock gas causes one or more products to be produced.
