DOPED-CARBON COMPOSITES, SYNTHESIZING METHODS AND APPLICATIONS OF THE SAME
A composite is synthesized by pyrolysis of a mixture of tannin and melamine. The synthesis process comprises dissolving the tannin and the melamine in water to form a homogeneous solution; evaporating the solution to yield a dry solid; and subjecting powders of the dry solid to a heat treatment at a temperature for a duration of time effective to produce the composite.

ACTIVATED CARBON FIBER SHEET FOR MOTOR VEHICLE CANISTER
An object of the present invention is to provide a new form of adsorbent suitable for a motor vehicle canister. An activated carbon fiber sheet satisfies one or two or more of conditions for indices, such as a specific surface area, a pore volume of pores having a given pore diameter, and a sheet density. An embodiment, for example, may have: a specific surface area ranging from 1400 to 2200 m.sup.2/g; a pore volume ranging from 0.20 to 1.20 cm.sup.3/g for pores having pore diameters of more than 0.7 nm and 2.0 nm or less; and a sheet density ranging from 0.030 to 0.200 g/cm.sup.3.

Thermally Stable Monolith Catalysts for Methane Reforming and Preparing Method of the Same
The present invention relates to a monolith catalyst for carbon-dioxide/methane reforming and a method of manufacturing the same, and more particularly to a novel monolith catalyst for a reforming reaction having improved thermal durability, configured such that a sintering inhibiting layer is formed by coating the surface of a monolith support with at least one element selected from the group consisting of Group 2, 3, 6, 13, 15 and 16 elements among elements in Period 3 or higher and an active catalyst layer is formed on the sintering inhibiting layer, thereby preventing carbon deposition and catalyst deactivation due to deterioration even upon reaction at high temperatures.
