Process, method and plant for recovering scandium
The present invention relates to a process, method and plant for recovering scandium and ions containing scandium using an ion exchange resin from a feed stream. The feed stream may be, but is by no means limited to, a leach liquor or leach pulp.
Processing unit and use of a plurality of processing units
Processing unit for assisting and/or performing a processing basic operation for a chemical reaction, with an operating unit for preparing a contribution for the processing basic operation and a frame for accommodating the operating units, the frame having an extension d.sub.L in the longitudinal direction which corresponds substantially to an integral multiple Z.sub.L of an integral portion N.sub.L of an extension L.sub.L, in the longitudinal direction of an interior of a standard transport container, in accordance with DIN ISO 668, and/or the frame having an extension d.sub.Q in the transverse direction with corresponds substantially to an integral multiple Z.sub.Q of an integral portion N.sub.Q of an extension L.sub.Q in the transverse direction of an interior of a standard transport container, in particular in accordance with DIN ISO 668, wherein different processing units can be stored in a pool for different processing basic operations and be assembled in modular and flexible manner in the standard transport container for the synthesis of a given chemical product.
INTEGRATED PRODUCTION OF UREA FOR DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID AND UREA AMMONIUM NITRATE
Disclosed is a method for the integrated production of two different urea products. One is an aqueous urea solution suitable for use in NOx abatement (generally indicated as Diesel Exhaust FluidDEF). The other is a solution used as a fertilizer, viz. Urea Ammonium Nitrate (UAN). The production of DEF and UAN are integrated as follows: ammonia recovered from the production of urea is used as a feed to the production of ammonium nitrate. At least part of an aqueous urea stream from urea prodution, is mixed with ammonium nitrate so as to obtain UAN.

USE OF CATALYSTS, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SELECTIVE OXIDATION OF AMMONIA IN A GAS CONTAINING HYDROGEN
The invention contributes to a cost effective way to solve the problem of trace ammonia removal from a hydrogen and nitrogen containing gas. The set of catalysts of the invention selectively oxidised ammonia in ppm concentration even in gas mixtures containing hydrogen gas in concentrations of three orders of magnitude higher than the concentration of ammonia.

Process and plant for preparing nitric acid
A process for producing nitric acid by the Ostwald process involves reacting ammonia with atmospheric oxygen as primary air to afford a NOx-containing gas stream in an ammonia oxidation reactor at a first pressure and absorbing the NOx-containing gas stream in water in an absorption apparatus at a higher, second pressure. Nitric acid is bleached with bleach air as secondary air at approximately the first pressure. The secondary air is brought to an operating pressure of the bleaching operation via a separate secondary air compressor or compressor stage. The separate secondary air compressor is independent of the compressor that brings the primary air to the first pressure. Compression to the second higher pressure at which the absorption of the NOx gases is performed in the absorption apparatus is provided only downstream of the bleaching operation.
