A method and a system for supporting a frame of a mineral material crusher on a body of a crushing plant and a mineral material processing plant. The crusher frame is supported by first support devices in place in relation to the body of the crushing plant at first support points and by at least two second support devices at second support points. The second support device has an adjusting member between the crusher frame and the body of the crushing plant, and at least one second support device is configured to move the frame of the crusher vertically in relation to the body of the crushing plant. The adjusting member has a cylinder and a piston inside the cylinder which define an adjusting volume therebetween. A pressure is formed from a load above the adjusting member and is arranged to form into the adjusting volumes of the adjusting members.

Moveable jaw mounting assembly

A movable jaw mounting assembly to provide adjustment of the close side setting (CSS) of a movable jaw and to act as a retraction assembly or assist with retraction. The assembly includes a pair of linear actuators that are coupled between the back frame end and a region of the toggle unit so as to move the toggle unit towards and away from the back frame end to allow insertion and removal of spacers and/or shims.

The invention relates to an apparatus for comminuting of material The apparatus comprises a first conveyor structure (CI) with a first conveyor surface (B1), a second conveyor structure (C2) with a second conveyor surface, and in which apparatus the first conveyor surface (B1) and the second conveyor surface (B2) are set facing each other. The conveyor surfaces (B1, B2) are arranged to define a comminuting space (GS) in the apparatus, The apparatus has means (MIA, M2A) for bringing the conveyor surfaces in a movement in the direction of movement D where the two conveyor surfaces (B1, B2) placed to face each other are arranged to move from a first end (E1) of the conveyor structures towards a second end (E2) of the conveyor structures. The conveyor surfaces positioned to face each other are placed in a convergent manner so that the gap between the conveyor surfaces (B1, B2) narrows when examined in the movement direction (D) of the conveyor surfaces, so that the advancing movement of the conveyor surfaces is arranged to bring about compression in the material being comminuted. In the invention, the conveyor surfaces (B1, B2) are in a double-converging manner so that in addition to said convergence in the movement direction, the conveyor surfaces are additionally placed in a convergent manner so that the gap between the conveyor surfaces (B1, B2) also narrows in the transverse direction (TD) in relation to the movement direction, said comminuting space (GS) thus becoming double-converging.

The invention relates to a mineral processing plant for crushing mineral material or the like, using a crushing device and an internal combustion engine, wherein in a first mode of operation an internal combustion engine is mechanically coupled to the crushing device to drive the latter, wherein a generator is provided, which is mechanically coupled to an internal combustion engine to drive this generator, and wherein the generator is coupled to one or more auxiliary units to supply to supply electric power thereto.

In this context, provision is made for an electric motor to be provided separately from the generator, which electric motor is mechanically coupled to the crushing device in a second operating mode to drive the crushing device.

The invention further relates to a method for operating such a mineral processing plant. The mineral processing plant makes for an energy-efficient operation.
