A distribution metering device (I) for a roller mill which includes a housing (2) with at least one grinding stock inlet (3), at least one grinding stock outlet (4), and a feed roll (5) which is arranged in the housing (2) for metering grinding stock into a grinding gap of the roller mill through the grinding stock outlet (4). The feed roll is rotatable about a feed roll axis (SA). A conveyor shaft (6) is arranged in the housing (2) for distributing grinding stock along the feed roll (5). The conveyor shaft is rotatable about a conveyor shaft axis (FA). The conveyor shaft axis (FA) is substantially parallel to the feed roll axis (SA), and a first fill state sensor (7) is arranged in the housing (2) for ascertaining a first grinding stock fill state of the housing (2).
TEST ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD FOR TESTING BREAKAGE AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF ROCK PARTICLES
The invention relates to a test arrangement for testing breakage and mechanical properties of rock particles. Test arrangement comprises a support (1, 2) and two counter-rotatable crushing rolls (3, 3′) supported on the support (1, 2) and a drive arrangement (M1, M2) for rotating the crushing rolls (3, 3′). Crushing rolls (3, 3) are facing each other and defining therebetween an input gap (G) for the rock particles, said rolls being arranged to crush rock particles (RP) to smaller daughter particles (DP). Test arrangement comprises a force measurement arrangement (7, 7) for determining the compressive strength of rock particles (RP). Force measurement arrangement (7, 7′) being coupled to a processor (PR) comprised by the test arrangement. The processor (PR) being arranged to calculate the breakage force applied to each rock particle (RP) over time. The test arrangement (TA) further comprises an energy measurement arrangement (5, 5′) for measuring information relating to energy applied to each rock particle (RP), said energy measurement arrangement (5, 5′) being coupled to said processor (PR), said processor (PR) being arranged to calculate energy applied to each rock particle (PR).
HEATED HERBAL GRINDER AND METHOD THEREFOR
An herbal grinding device has a housing. A chute is formed through the housing. A shredding mechanism is positioned within the chute. The shredding mechanism moves an herbal product through the chute while shredding the herbal product. The shredding mechanism is heated to prevent resin from the herbal product from sticking to the shredding mechanism.
Device for dissolving compressed blocks of insulation, a loose fill insulation apparatus and a method for dissolving compressed blocks of insulation
The invention relates to a device for dissolving compressed blocks of loose-fill cellulose thermal insulation material. The device includes a support surface for the compressed blocks of insulation and a cylinder with protruding members arranged on the cylinder mantel surface. Said cylinder is rotatable around a substantially horizontal axis to process and dissolve the compressed blocks of insulation between the protruding members and a processing zone arranged by an edge of said support surface. The invention discloses that said protruding members arranged on the cylinder mantel surface are elongated protrusions extending substantially parallel to the horizontal axis. The invention further discloses that the cylinder is arranged to rotate inside of an arc-shaped surface partly covering the cylinder mantel surface and prolonging the milling zone in a peripheral direction of the cylinder. Further, the invention relates to a loose fill insulation apparatus.
Roller Press Capable of Applying Electric Field
A roller press capable of applying an electric field comprises a base, a frame (12), press rollers, an inter-roller distance adjustment device (11), a speed adjustment device (122), a voltage application device, a feed deflector (19), and a discharge device. A surface of the press roller is made of an electrically-conductive material, and an electric field is created when a voltage is applied to the press roller. In the roller press, an alternating or direct current electric field is applied between the press rollers to create an electrochemical action, such that particles or a solution in a system is induced to undergo a physical or chemical change, thereby enhancing interaction therebetween, and accordingly increasing grinding and dispersion efficiency of a solid-liquid dispersion system.
