Method and apparatus for preventing buildup of twine and netwrap on the rotor of a bale processor
A bale processor of a type having flail rotor providing an outer support surface with a plurality of flails mounted thereon are mounted for movement therewith around a flail rotor axis for engaging the bale and removing material from the outside of the bale. A plurality of depth control bars are disposed between adjacent flails for controlling the distance that the outer end of the flails extend into the outer surface of the bale. In one embodiment the depth control bars are positioned close to the outer support surface of the flail rotor whereby the depth control bars prevent a buildup of twine or netwrap on the outer support surface of the flail rotor. In another embodiment engagement members rigidly attached to the frame, separate from the depth control bars, are disposed between flails for preventing a buildup of netwrap/twine on the flail rotor.

DISTRIBUTION MEMBER AND VERTICAL SHAFT IMPACT CRUSHER INCLUDING THE SAME
A distribution member may include a distributing plate, a plurality of protecting plates and a second protecting plate. The distributing plate may be connected with a vertical shaft of the vertical shaft impact crusher. The distributing plate may have a first distributing surface having a conical shape, and a second distributing surface. The first protecting plates may be attached to the first distributing surface of the distributing plate. The second protecting plate may be attached to the second distributing surface of the distributing plate. Thus, the distribution member may be semi-permanently used by properly exchanging any one of the first protecting plates and/or the second protecting plate.
Anti-caking device
An anti-caking device has a plunger with a plunger head moveable between first and second positions. In the first position, the plunger head forms a surface with the housing, and in the second position, the plunger head is moved to provide at least a crack around its perimeter relative to the housing, whereby fluid proceeds from a fluid supply through the crack to assist in dislodging caked on material on the surface. Preferably, relatively low pressure fluid is utilized in many embodiments.
Pretensioning cable assembly for securing a crusher/shredder rotor intact upon its shaft
A pretensioning cable assembly for a crusher in which the assembly is an anchor member having a tapered aperture, a cable having an end for being inserted into and through the tapered aperture of the anchor member, and an anchor wedge positioned on the end of the cable for securing the end of the cable in the tapered aperture, for assembly of a crusher.

Horizontal shaft impact crusher hammer lifting device
A crusher hammer lifting device facilitates raising and lowering of a hammer mountable at a rotor of a horizontal shaft impact crusher (HSi-crusher). The device includes a main body, a mount engager for attachment to an auxiliary lifting tool and a hammer attachment for releasably mounting the hammer in a rotatable manner at the device.

The device includes a main body, a mount engager for attachment to an auxiliary lifting tool and a hammer attachment for releasably mounting the hammer in a rotatable manner at the device.
SHREDDING DEVICE FOR SHREDDING MATERIAL TO BE SHREDDED
A shredding device for use in the field of recycling and waste processing has a shredding roller having a basic roller body rotatable about an axis and a feed means for feeding material to the shredding roller, wherein shredding tools are provided on the basic roller body, which are spaced apart from one another and are arranged in rows extending in the longitudinal direction of the basic roller body and extending obliquely with respect to the longitudinal direction. A larger quantity of material is produced at the first end than at the second end of the basic roller body, wherein directly adjacent shredding tools of a row are arranged such that the shredding tool facing the second end is set back in the direction of rotation relative to the shredding tool facing the first end and/or wherein different distances are provided between directly adjacent shredding tools of a row.
Restraining of service access to HSI crusher chamber
A restraint apparatus, a horizontal shaft crusher including the restraint apparatus and a method for controlling access to a crushing chamber of the horizontal shaft crusher. The first restraint has an operation mode and a service mode for respectively blocking and allowing opening of a service hatch for accessing the crushing chamber. A second restraint has an operation mode and a service mode for respectively not controlling the horizontal shaft and controlling the horizontal shaft. The first and second restraints are mutually exclusively usable in the operation mode so that the crushing chamber is not accessible through the service hatch unless the second restraint is controlling the horizontal shaft.
