Mono Roller Grinding Mill
A crushing mill with a single roller inside a driven cylindrical shell inner surface, both with horizontal and parallel but offset axes is disclosed. In some embodiments, the roller has protrusions such that as the roller and shell rotate rock or other material may be crushed between the shell and the roller, respectively. In some embodiments, the shell and the roller each have surface protrusions such that rock or other materials may be crushed between the shell and the roller as they rotate. In some embodiments the shell and the roller operate at differential speeds with respect to each other to induce shear forces on the material to be crushed.
SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR UPGRADING A PULVERIZER
A method of upgrading a vertical spindle pulverizer includes the steps of removing a cover from a journal opening in a housing of the pulverizer to access a grinding zone of the pulverizer, removing a first journal assembly having a toroidal grinding roll from the pulverizer through the journal opening, removing a plurality of toroidal table segments from a grinding table of the pulverizer, installing a plurality of inclined bull ring segments on the grinding table, installing a second journal assembly having a conical grinding roll in the pulverizer, and replacing the cover over the journal opening. The inclined bull ring segments are configured to register with a grinding surface of the conical grinding roll.
Roller mill and method for manufacturing roller mill
Provided is a roller mill that is provided with: a rotary table; a raw coal adding tube that supplies solid fuel to the rotary table; and a roller that rotates about a rotating shaft by being pressed against a grinding surface of the rotary table and grinds solid fuel along with rotation of the rotary table. In such a roller mill, a position where an outer peripheral surface of the roller and the grinding surface of the rotary table come into contact with each other and a circumferential velocity of the outer peripheral surface equals a circumferential velocity of the grinding surface is located further to an inner circumferential side of the rotary table than a position where the outer peripheral surface and the grinding surface come into contact with each other at a center position in a width direction of the roller.
GRINDING-ROLLER APPARATUS
The invention relates to a grinding roller device for a roller mill having a sleeve-like mount for securing the spindle of the grinding roller, wherein the grinding roller is rotatively mounted in axial direction in a stationary way at the end region of the spindle, and wherein the sleeve-like mount features at least one clamping means in order to secure the spindle in the mount against rotation and axial movement. The invention is characterized in that the sleeve-like mount features an inner eccentric sleeve to provide for adjustability of the spindle of the grinding roller, and in that the eccentric sleeve is arranged in the sleeve-like mount to provide at least rotary adjustment of the spindle, and/or in that the eccentric sleeve is displaceably accommodated in the sleeve-like mount to provide axial displacement in axial direction of the spindle of the grinding roller.
Preparation of metal chalcogenides
A method embodiment involves preparing single metal or mixed transition metal chalcogenide using exfoliation of two or more different bulk transition metal dichalcogenides in a manner to form an intermediate hetero-layered transition metal chalcogenide structure, which can be treated to provide a single-phase transition metal chalcogenide.
Large capacity upright tilting wet stone grinder
The present invention relates to tilting a wet stone grinder of capacity in the 125-300 liter size. Tilting is accomplished by a gear driven, manual or motorized tilting mechanism.
Additive Coated Particles for Low Cost High Performance Materials
Existing methods of extrusion and other techniques to compound host and additives material uniformly disperse the additive in the host. This innovation uses ball milling to a coat a host particle with an additive dramatically reducing the additive required to achieve a percolative network in the host.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR GRINDING LUMPY MATERIAL
The object of the invention is an apparatus and a method for grinding lumpy material. The solution according to the invention comprises a grinding plate (2) rotating on the horizontal plane around a vertical axis of rotation, onto the top surface of which the material (3) to be ground can be fed, and on the top surface (8) of which grinding plate is a plurality of grinding discs (4a), which rotate by the effect of the rotating motion of the grinding plate (2) and compress the material to be ground against the grinding plate (2). The apparatus comprises a revolver mechanism for changing the angle of the plane of rotation (RP) of the grinding discs (4a) with respect to a line in the direction of the radius of the grinding plate (2).
Method and apparatus for recycling asphalt milings
Apparatus and method for recycling asphalt millings containing bitumen and stone. A milling tube is provided having an outer tube and an inner tube axially aligned with and substantially contained within the outer tube, the inner tube having a diameter less that a diameter of the outer tube to thus define a mixing space between the inner and outer tubes. At least one of the inner and outer tubes is adapted to rotate relative to the other. An inlet is provided to the mixing space to receive the asphalt millings. A plurality of inner tube projections project radially outward from a surface of the inner tube toward the outer tube, and a plurality of outer tube projections project radially inward from a surface of the outer tube toward the inner tube. The milling tube facilitates the separation of the asphalt millings into bitumen and stone as one of the inner and outer tubes rotates relative to the other. Preferably, at least one of the outer and inner tubes contains an abrasive coating on a surface thereof, the inner tube projections and outer tube projections are comprised of wire rope, and an inlet is provided in the outer tube through which cold air can be applied to the mixing space.
