MEDIA PROCESSING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF SAME
A part processing assembly comprising including a media collection device that is adapted to receive used media from a media-blasting chamber. A transport mechanism, coupled to the media collection device, transports used media to a media reclaim system. A first separation device is used to perform a filtering process on the used media to create non-useable media and useable media. A second separation device is configured to apply a magnetic field to the useable media to create recycled media for use in the media-blasting chamber.
PROCESS FOR RECOVERING MATERIALS FROM BAUXITE RESIDUE, MICROWAVE REACTOR FOR HEATING MINING PRODUCTS AND METHOD FOR HEATING A MINING PRODUCT
This invention refers to a technically and economically viable process for recovery of relevant metallic and non-metallic contents from mining residues, particularly the bauxite residue, using it in its integral form. Such a process route uses energy from microwaves, assisted leaching and logic sequencing of steps that allow a technically and economically viable removal of components from the bauxite residue, particularly the residue from the Bayer process. The invention also refers to a microwave reactor that is appropriate for performing the above-mentioned process, as well as to a method for heating a mining product.
Magnetic matrices and methods of using the same
A magnetic matrix for magnetic separation of particles in a material feed includes a plurality of grooved plates having first and second sides that both have an alternating series of teeth and grooves therealong, each grooved plate having an offset alignment in which teeth and grooves on a first side of a plate are laterally offset from teeth and grooves on a second side of the same plate. Also provided are methods of using magnetic matrices to separate magnetic ores, with the methods characterized by a negative correlation in which magnetic matrices constructed with grooved plates having larger pitches are used for the separation of ultrafine particles.
Mineral processing plant
A modified selective recirculation circuit has a loading stage, a stripping stage and a filtering stage for use in processing a feed stream or slurry containing mineral particles. The stripping stage forms a first loop with the loading stage, a second loop with the filtering stage. The loading stage has a loading mixer and a loading washing screen. The stripping stage has a stripping mixer and a stripping washing screen. The loading mixer receives the slurry and causes barren media in the circuit to contact with the slurry so that the mineral particles in the slurry are loaded onto the barren media. The media is directed to the stripping stage where the mineral particles are removed from the media. The barren media is recycled to the loading stage. The stripping solution recovered from the filtering stage is returned to the stripping stage and the mineral particles are discharged as concentrate.
Method for preparing iron alloy and cement material
A method for preparing iron alloy and a cement material, in the field of solid waste recycling, provides an efficient, synergistic effect between main components of carbon, calcium and heavy metal in municipal solid waste incineration (MSWI) fly ash and main components of iron, aluminum and silicon in red mud, so that the iron alloy and cement material can be readily obtained. By using waste to treat waste and using the complementarity of the components of two waste streams, carbon in the MSWI fly ash may provide a reductant to accelerate an iron mineral in the red mud to reduce into metal iron. With the formation of the metal iron, a siderophile heavy metal element in the MSWI fly ash is also accelerated to enter an iron phase. Meanwhile, the cement material is formed by Al.sub.2O.sub.3 and SiO.sub.2 in the red mud and CaO in the MSWI fly ash.
Magnetic device for capturing metal wear particles in suspension in a lubrication fluid
A magnetic device for capturing metal wear particles in suspension in a lubrication fluid, the magnetic device being for inserting in a straight-line insertion direction of the magnetic device into a wall of a casing via a through orifice serving to put an inside volume of the casing containing the lubrication fluid into communication with an outside volume outside the casing, the magnetic device presenting a longitudinal axis X, the longitudinal axis X being for putting into coincidence with the direction for inserting the magnetic device into the casing, the magnetic device comprising a permanent magnet suitable for attracting the metal particles and a presence-detector member for detecting the metal particles attracted by the permanent magnet.
Machine for magnetic separation
A machine is described for magnetic separation of material, wherein the machine includes a supporting structure and at least one magnetic rotating drum supported by the supporting structure, wherein the machine further includes a vehicle for moving and transporting the supporting structure. The magnetic drum includes an outer rotating shell and a magnetic portion including at least one magnet positioned and housed within the outer shell, wherein the outer shell is rotatable around a central axis by a drive mechanism and the at least one magnet is positioned in a fixed location within the outer shell.
METHOD FOR THE BENEFICIATION OF IRON ORE STREAMS
A method of beneficiating iron ore streams, the method comprising the steps of sizing an iron ore stream to provide a fines fraction of less than 3.0 mm diameter particle size and contacting the fines fraction with a magnetic field and magnetically separating the fines fraction into a concentrate stream and a tailings stream.
ONE-DIMENSIONAL CORALLOID NiS/Ni3S4@PPy@MoS2-BASED WAVE ABSORBER, AND PREPARATION METHOD AND USE THEREOF
The present disclosure belongs to the technical field of wave absorbing materials, and discloses a one-dimensional coralloid NiS/Ni.sub.3S.sub.4@PPy@MoS.sub.2-based wave absorber, and a preparation method and use thereof. A preparation method of a one-dimensional coralloid NiS/Ni.sub.3S.sub.4@PPy@MoS.sub.2-based wave absorber includes the following steps. Preparing one-dimensional Ni nanowires by a reduction method. Coating a layer of polypyrrole (PPy) on the Ni nanowires by an in-situ polymerization method using pyrrole as a monomer, to obtain Ni@PPy nanowires. Coating MoS.sub.2 nanorods on the Ni@PPy nanowires by a hydrothermal synthesis method. Meanwhile, Ni as a sacrificial template is vulcanized into NiS/Ni.sub.3S.sub.4 to prepare the one-dimensional coralloid NiS/Ni.sub.3S.sub.4@PPy@MoS.sub.2-based wave absorber. The wave absorber has a novel surface morphology and simple preparation process.
THERMOLYSIS SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OBTAINING RECOVERED CARBON BLACK AND FUEL FROM DISUSED TIRES
The invention relates to a thermolysis system and method for obtaining recovered carbon black and fuel from disused tires, which includes a thermolysis reactor and a flash vessel acting jointly to refine fuel without the need for post-treatment to clean same. During thermolysis, condensers are cleaned without needing to cut the flow or deviate the gas stream, since the deposits formed inside tubes of a heat exchange system are cleaned using a part of the fuel obtained. The carbon black obtained is comparable to existing semi-reinforcing carbon blacks. The obtained fuel has a high content of aromatic compounds, and its carbon content is reduced to 3% by weight, up to 0.8% by weight, with respect to fuels obtained in pyrolytic processes, without requiring post-treatment such as distillation processes or catalytic treatment.
