Coating Applicator
20230128261 · 2023-04-27 ·

An applicator and method of use is disclosed for applying coatings and paints to various surfaces. As shown, the sprayer may have an undercarriage frame that supports three-wheels. All three wheels may run parallel with the first wheels and second wheels attached to the sprayer frame via an undercarriage with the third wheel positioned behind and between both the first and second wheels on a separate arm or frame. The width of the sprayer booms may be adjusted. The undercarriage may be folded entirely or only a portion therein. The arm of the third wheel may be folded or telescope, as required by a particular application. A handle, which may be adjustable, may be positioned between the sprayer frame and the undercarriage. Use of the applicator according to the method discussed herein reduces operator fall exposure and increases application efficiency.

Misting system with removable canopy and user actuated control with optional modular construction

The misting system has, in one embodiment, two seats with misting heads above each seat. A platform supports the seats, a tank, a pump and a power source. A supply line couples the tank-supplied pump and the misters. Removable canopy is mounted above seats by vertical and curvaceous struts and the misters are mounted on the struts. A user actuated UA control on the seat(s) activates pump ON to release mist. Wheels make the module mobile. Battery, solar power, and chiller are options. A countdown timer turns OFF the pump or controllable, inline valves after initial activation of the UA control. A level sensor in the tank alerts the user via a user display. A pressurized system can be used. Multiple modules coupled together are controlled by a master module with master controls.

Notched base ring for use with a heat exchanger of a pressure washer

The notched base ring comprises a base ring sheet body including a top portion, a bottom portion, a first end connecting the top portion to the bottom portion, and a second end connecting the bottom portion to the top portion. The top portion includes a plurality of attachment lugs and defines a plurality of notches, each notch being at least partially defined by two lugs disposed on opposite sides of the notch, the top portion also including an angled top edge that is disposed at each of the attachment lugs, and the bottom portion includes a bottom support edge.

A fluid applicator configured to receive a pressurized fluid includes a pressure vessel configured to receive the pressurized fluid from a fluid delivery line. The pressure vessel includes a valve chamber configured to receive a valve assembly, a filter chamber configured to receive a filter assembly, and a fluid delivery line fitting configured to be coupled to the fluid delivery line. The fluid applicator further including a tip assembly coupled to the pressure vessel and configured to atomize the pressurized fluid.

RAIN SIMULATION SYSTEM

A rain simulation system that replicates realistic raindrop characteristics for controlled testing is invented. The rain simulation system can be used as a stand-alone system with wind using a blower fan or in a wind tunnel, and without wind to create wind-driven and vertically falling rain droplets, respectively. In addition, methods to simulate rainfall for stationary and moving objects such as a road passenger vehicle are proposed. The rain simulation system is fully adjustable for a range of droplet size, impact velocity, rain intensity, rain coverage via the use of dripping nozzle devices and positioning of system components. The rain simulation system dispenses distinct droplets or continuous streams that can be broken down into droplets by wind. A rain nozzle device is coupled with a rain reservoir, and multiple nozzles are used to create a rain matrix, the full matrix is integrated with a rain rack and rainwater flow control strategy.

An automated mobile sprayer (AMS) includes a mobile base, an applicator arm supported by the mobile base, and a nozzle extending from the applicator arm. The nozzle receives fluid from a fluid supply and generates an atomized fluid spray for application to a surface. The applicator arm moves vertically relative to the mobile base and the surface to cause the nozzle to generate a vertical fluid stripe. The mobile base moves laterally relative to the surface to cause the nozzle to generate a horizontal fluid stripe.

CART SPRAYER

A walk from behind, also called a push or cart sprayer having an assembly of wheeled frame and a tank. The frame has a rearward extending handle which enables the assembly to be pushed along a path. The tank has a connected boom assembly including a pivotal boom arm along the front of the tank with a distal spray nozzle, and a mechanism enabling the boom arm to be pivoted to the sides of the tank where the nozzle sprays away from the path, to the side of the path, so that possible toxic or corrosive spraying liquid cannot be stepped upon by the operator pushing the sprayer, thereby enhancing safety of operation. The boom arm is also pivotal to the front of the tank, such as useful when the cart sprayer is towed.

Device for spraying a dye penetration inspection liquid into a workpiece

A device for spraying a liquid for use in dye penetration inspection into an inner cavity of a workpiece for making a turbine engine part, the device including a workpiece support, a manifold for spraying the inspection liquid into the inner cavity, a manifold for sucking up and discharging the sprayed inspection liquid, and a mechanism for tilting at least a portion of the support from a substantially horizontal position to an inclined position in which the workpiece is inclined so that the inspection liquid sprayed into the cavity flows under gravity to a zone from which it is sucked up.
