Systems for automated mobile painting of structures
An automated mobile sprayer (AMS) includes a mobile base, an applicator arm supported by the mobile base, and a nozzle extending from the applicator arm. The nozzle receives fluid from a fluid supply and generates an atomized fluid spray for application to a surface. The applicator arm moves vertically relative to the mobile base and the surface to cause the nozzle to generate a vertical fluid stripe. The mobile base moves laterally relative to the surface to cause the nozzle to generate a horizontal fluid stripe.

IR/UV SENSOR-BASED SPRAYING SYSTEM
A handheld fluid spraying system includes a pump assembly configured to provide a pressurized liquid and a handheld fluid sprayer. The handheld fluid sprayer comprises a fluid inlet configured to receive the pressurized liquid, a spray tip having an outlet through which the pressurized liquid exits the handheld fluid sprayer to be applied to a surface, a trigger configured to control flow of the liquid through the handheld fluid sprayer, and a sensor configured to detect the liquid and to generate sensor data indicative thereof, the sensor being selected from the group consisting of an infrared (IR) sensor, a thermal imager, and a UV sensor. The handheld fluid spraying system further comprises a controller configured to determine a characteristic of the liquid based on the sensor data and to generate a control output based on the determined characteristic.
AUTOMATED DRYWALL PLANNING SYSTEM AND METHOD
An automated drywalling system network that including one or more automated drywalling systems that each has a robotic arm. The automated drywalling system network can also include a computational planner that generates instructions for the one or more automated drywalling systems to perform two or more drywalling tasks associated with a target wall assembly. The two or more drywalling tasks can include a hanging task that includes hanging pieces of drywall on studs of the target wall assembly; a mudding task that includes applying joint compound to pieces of drywall hung on studs of the target wall assembly; a sanding task that includes sanding joint compound applied to the pieces of drywall hung on studs of the target wall assembly; and a painting task that includes painting sanded the joint compound applied to the pieces of drywall hung on studs of the target wall assembly.
Automatically adjustable tool for holding a spray painting instrument for painting an infernal surface of a pipe
Disclosed herein is a tool for holding a spray painting instrument, such as a painting gun for painting an internal surface of a pipe. In particular, the inventive tool is ideal for painting the interior of curves and angles in a pipe and is capable of moving through and uniformly painting up to 90 degree angles of pipes or hollow tubes. The tool has a hollow central tube for carrying a spray-painting gun and at least two projections extending outwardly from an outer surface of the hollow tube. A retracting arm assembly is provided on each projection. Each retracting arm assembly includes first and second retracting arms and a corresponding force exertion mechanism. In operation, when the tool is inserted inside the pipe, each retracting arm touches the internal surface of the pipe due to an outward force exerted thereon. The tool is movable inside the pipe and adjusts automatically to different pipe diameters. The tool can be used manually or in an automated fashion to push and pull the paint gun and paint the interior of a pipe.

A manifold that allows for increased flow performance, at a reduced pressure, and a flow path that is easily maintained, and fluid dispensing systems that allow for the precise, controlled spacing of beads of multiple component adhesives, and other liquids, and allow for multiple beads to be dispensed onto a substrate simultaneously are disclosed. A control portion for a manifold that solves the disadvantages relating to scaling an open channel and a carrier that provides a mechanism for applying an adhesive and/or a two-part adhesive easier are disclosed.
Material sprayer
A material sprayer includes a hopper module and a power module. The power module is mountable and dismountable from the hopper module. The hopper module includes a hopper frame and a hopper supported by the hopper frame. The power module includes a drive and a pump connected to and configured to be powered by the drive. The pump interfaces with the hopper with the power module mounted on the hopper frame such that the pump can draw material from the hopper.
INTEGRATED PUMP GUARD AND CONTROL INTERLOCK
A paint sprayer includes an end bell, a motor connected to the end bell, a pump drive connected to the end bell, a pair of protrusions attached to an extending from the end bell such that each protrusion is cantilevered from the end bell, and a pump assembly comprising a pair of mounting holes and containing a piston. The pair of mounting holes is adapted to receive and slide onto the pair of protrusions to mount the pump assembly on the end bell as well as slide off of the pair of protrusions to remove the pump assembly from the end bell. The pump drive is configured to covert rotational motion output by the motor to reciprocal motion. The pump assembly is configured to pump paint when reciprocated by the pump drive while mounted on the end bell.
PISTON COUPLER FOR A RECIPROCATING PUMP
A liquid delivery system includes a reciprocating drive and a liquid cylinder comprising a liquid piston, operably driven by the reciprocating drive, to pump a liquid along a flow path to a liquid applicator. The liquid delivery system includes a coupler configured to couple the liquid piston to the reciprocating drive. The coupler includes a plurality of collar elements and a biasing member configured to apply a biasing force on the plurality of collar elements to retain the collar elements in a position that forms a collar that couples the liquid piston to the reciprocating drive.
