AUTOMATIC APPLICATION OF FINISH TO SPORTS BALL
The present disclosure involves systems for applying finishing treatment to balls. The system includes an arm that transports at least one ball through a plurality of stations. A first station includes a first actuator, which permits introduction of a ball into the arm. A second station includes a buffer, which buffs the surface of the ball and rotates the ball in place relative to the arm, a spray nozzle configured to apply treatment to the ball, and a camera configured to capture images of the ball. A third station includes an inspection camera that captures inspection images of the ball and a rotating plate configured to rotate the ball in place relative to the arm. A fourth station includes a second actuator, which ejects the ball from the arm.
Method for forming a coating on a stent
Various embodiments of methods and devices for coating stents are described herein.
Multi-pan coating assembly for particulate material
A spray coating machine and process accommodates coating pans of various sizes and simplifies cleaning after particulate material in the pan is coated. A selected pan is supported on a trolley carried by a wheeled cart. After the cart is positioned adjacent the coating machine, the trolley and pan are extended into the machine, and then the pan lifted for support by a rotatable drive shaft and castors. The trolley is then removed from the machine, and the door is closed so that the coating process can commence. When coating is complete, the door is opened, and the trolley extended into the machine under the pan and raised for removal of the castors. Then, the trolley and pan are withdrawn from the machine. The trolley does not need cleaning after spraying, since the trolley is outside the machine during spraying of the coating solution.
Methods, apparatus, and chemical compositions for selectively coating fiber-based food containers
Methods and apparatus for vacuum forming and subsequently applying topical coatings fiber-based food containers. The slurry includes one or more of an embedded moisture barrier, vapor barrier, and oil barrier, and the topical coating comprises one or more of a vapor barrier, a moisture barrier, an oil barrier, and an oxygen barrier. For food containers having deep sidewalls, a spray coating system includes a first nozzle for applying a full cone spray pattern to the bottom surface of the container, and a second nozzle for applying a hollow cone spray pattern to the inside surfaces of the side walls.
TAIL STOCK FOR A LONG VERTICALLY SUSPENDED WORKPIECE THAT WILL EXPERIENCE HEAT EXPANSION
A tailstock for supporting a workpiece along a vertical rotary axis includes a base member, and a housing having a wall including a first end, and a second end, an outer surface, and an inner surface defining a central passage extending between the first and second ends defining a longitudinal axis. The second end is coupled to the base member. A workpiece support extends through the central passage. The workpiece support includes a first end, a second end and an intermediate portion extending therebetween. A linear bearing is coupled to the base member in the central passage. The linear bearing slideably receives the second end of the workpiece support. A displacement sensor assembly includes a stationary portion mounted relative to one of the base member and the housing, and a moveable portion mounted to the second end of the workpiece support.
LOTION APPLICATION MACHINE AND REPLACEABLE CARTRIDGE USED WITH THE MACHINE
A lotion application machine for allowing automatic application of a lotion to the body of a user is provided. The lotion application machine has a rotatable platform, on which the user can stand and be rotated while the lotion is being applied. The lotion can be applied evenly to the entire body of the user.
Servo operated spray machine and method for operating
A method of operating a plurality of machines. Each of the machines uses a servo motor and a motor drive coupled to the servo motor, and the motor drive incorporates a regenerative braking system. The method comprises synchronising the servo motors in order to achieve overlap of the acceleration phases of some machines with the deceleration phases of other machines and providing electrical power from the regenerative braking systems of machines in a deceleration phase to machines in an acceleration phase. A controller for a machine implementing the method, and a system comprising such a controller and a plurality of machines are also disclosed.
Material application and curing system
A material application and curing system incorporating a spray booth connected alongside a curing chamber along with a pivoting cantilever therebetween adapted to swing materials between them, such that materials can be coated with substances in the spray booth and then quickly, easily, and efficiently transferred to the curing chamber.
VEHICLE WHEEL SPRAYING SUPPORT TOOL
An improved vehicle wheel spraying support tool is provided. The improved vehicle wheel spraying support tool is composed of a base plate, rotary sleeves, adjustment rods, supporting pins, a stationary sleeve, a flange, fixed plates and the like. In use, the rotary sleeves with random number are mounted in a slot of the base plate and a slot of the flange through sliding pins according to requirements; after angles among the supporting pins are adjusted, the rotary sleeves are fixed through screws III; the positions of the supporting pins can be adjusted to fit in vehicle wheels of different pitch circles by adjusting the positions of the adjustment rods in the rotary sleeves; and the vertical heights of the supporting pins can be adjusted through threads of the lower parts of the supporting pins, and the supporting pins are locked through locking nuts. The improved vehicle wheel spraying support tool provided by the disclosure can meet the on-line spraying requirements of special forged vehicle wheels with different pitch circle diameters, different heights and different sizes, not only has a simple structure and high universality, but also has the characteristics of safety, reliability, low manufacturing costs and the like.
SIDE-STREAM FOAM MONITOR AND CONTROL SYSTEM
Provided is a device which is capable of ongoing measurement of variable foaming tendencies in a fluid system and provide a signal to regulate the feed rate of defoamer accordingly to maintain foaming at an acceptable target level. The regulation of feed can be accomplished automatically or manually.
