A rotating sprinkler for irrigation is disclosed. The sprinkler can include a turret and a stream conditioner positioned in the turret. The stream conditioner can include a plurality of fins forming a plurality of flow regions. One or more of the plurality of flow regions can have a cross-sectional flow area that decreases in a downstream direction towards the primary port so as to accelerate the pressurized water through the stream conditioner. The plurality of fins can further straighten the water.

SELF FLUSHING FLOW RESTRICTOR FOR A FLUID DISPENSING SYSTEM

In one example, a fluid flow restrictor has a housing outlet offset from a housing inlet along a fluid flow direction so as to define a channel therebetween. A rotatable body that is disposed in the channel defines a bore that extends entirely therethrough such that the bore defines a bore inlet and a bore outlet. The flow restrictor has an interior surface disposed in the bore that defines an orifice having a cross-sectional dimension that is less than a cross-sectional dimension of the channel such that the orifice can restrict a flow of fluid as the fluid flows between the housing inlet and outlet. The rotatable body is rotatable between 1) a first orientation, where the bore outlet is offset from the bore inlet along the fluid flow direction, and 2) a second orientation, where the bore inlet is offset from the bore outlet along the fluid flow direction.

Electrostatic Sprayer

The present invention is directed to an electrostatic sprayer for applying disinfectants, agricultural production, pesticides, and other chemicals and liquid solutions. The electrostatic sprayer may be used for indoor and outdoor applications. The electrostatic sprayer provides a solution tank for holding a treatment solution, a base for holding and protecting the mechanical and electrical components, including a power supply, solution pump, and electrostatic generator, of the electrostatic sprayer, a supply hose, and a spray wand. The solution tank further includes input and exit filters to remove particles that may damage the solution pump of clog the spray wand. The spray wand includes spray nozzles with backflow valves and metering disks to control the flow of the treatment solution and close the valve when the treatment solution is not sufficiently pressurized to pass through the backflow valve to prevent leak when not in use. An electrostatic switch is also provided for selectively powering on the electrostatic generator. The electrostatic generator provides a positive charge to an electrode in the solution tank and a negative charge to a grounding strip in the handle of the spray wand providing a negative pathway through Earth to the objects being treated enhancing the electrical attraction of the treatment solution to those items. A grounding strap is also provided to be worn by the user to reduce the resistance in the path between the grounding strip and Earth by bypassing some of the user's clothing and protective gear that may provide resistance to the path.

A jet for lubricating a piece of a turbomachine for an aircraft such as an airplane, including a circulation duct for flowing a pressurised fluid, includes a first duct chamber, a second duct chamber, a first nozzle for passing between the first duct chamber and the second duct chamber, the first nozzle having a fixed minimum passage cross-section, and a second nozzle for passing from the second chamber to the outlet port formed by the second nozzle, the second nozzle including a fixed minimum passage cross-section. The ratio of the cross-section of the first nozzle to the cross-section of the second nozzle is between 0.16 and 3.61.

Reduced precipitation rate nozzle

A nozzle is provided having a low precipitation rate and uniform fluid distribution to a desired arcuate span of coverage. The nozzle has an inflow port having a shape corresponding to the desired arc of coverage and a size for effecting a low precipitation rate. The nozzle also has a deflector surface with a water distribution profile including ribs for subdividing the fluid into multiple sets of fluid streams. There are at least two fluid streams for distant and close-in irrigation to provide relatively uniform distribution and coverage. The nozzle may be a unitary, one-piece, molded nozzle body including a mounting portion, an inflow port, and a deflector portion.
