The disclosed technology includes an air filter box for filtering particulates from air. The air filter box can include a filter media pack having a filter layer and a plurality of filter media supports configured to support the filter layer. The air filter box can also include a filter housing having an inlet, an outlet, and a plurality of support tabs configured to align and support the filter media pack inside of the filter housing. The filter media pack can be configured to be folded and placed inside of the housing for cooperative engagement with the support tabs. The filter box can be configured to channel a mixture of air and particulates from the inlet, through the filter media pack, and out the outlet to create filtered air.

A transportable module which when deployed forms at least part of a vehicle enclosure, the transportable module includes a first housing which houses at least part of an air handling unit, the housing including a rigid side wall or a rigid roof portion which is extendible to form at least part of an additional housing adjacent to the air handling unit; the additional housing being suitable for housing and fully enclosing a vehicle; whereby spraying and baking operations may be carried out within the additional housing whilst the vehicle is shielded from the surrounding environmental conditions; the air handling unit being configured to heat and/or cool air in order to provide heated or cooled air to the vicinity of the vehicle; and an extraction duct for removing air from the additional housing and for filtering the removed air prior to disposing of it into the surrounding environment.

In use, a vehicle may be placed within the enclosure. The enclosure further includes an air handling unit for respectively producing a first temperature level within the enclosure suitable for a spray mode of operation and a second temperature level within the enclosure suitable for a baking mode of operation.

The paint spray enclosure also includes an air flow input apparatus for allowing air flow into the enclosure, and an air extraction apparatus/air scrubber for removing air from the enclosure, such that air mixed with vaporized paint inside the enclosure is removed from the enclosure before the paint vapor and air combine to form an explosive mixture, thereby preventing an explosion and/or fire from occurring inside the enclosure, and preventing operators from being exposed to harmful fumes. The air scrubber removes the paint vapor from the air as the combination exits the enclosure, thereby allowing only “clean” air back into the atmosphere.
