Dispenser device for applying structural adhesive and a method using such a dispenser device
This invention relates to a dispenser device for and a method of applying a structural adhesive to an application surface on a wind turbine blade structure, wherein the dispenser device comprises a housing forming a reservoir configured to hold a surplus of structural adhesive during dispensing. The reservoir is connected to an inlet for supplying the structural adhesive and an outlet for dispensing the structural adhesive. The outlet may be a side opening arranged in an exchangeable housing part. The dispenser device may also comprise an adjustable mechanism connected to a plate member configured to be moved relative to the side opening. The operation of the adjustable mechanism is controlled via a control unit or a control element. The exchangeable housing part or adjustable mechanism enables the cross-sectional profile, the width and/or the height of the dispensed structural adhesive to be changed before or during dispensing.

AN ADHESIVE DEPOSITION TOOL FOR APPLYING STRUCTURAL ADHESIVE TO A WIND TURBINE BLADE COMPONENT
This invention relates to an adhesive deposition tool for applying a bead of structural adhesive onto an application surface of a wind turbine blade component. The tool comprises a top portion defining an upper boundary of an open-ended chamber, two side portions defining side boundaries of the chamber and a supply channel for supplying adhesive to the chamber. The chamber comprises a front end and a rear end, the rear end being the end from which adhesive is deposited onto the surface when the tool is moved along the surface, wherein the top portion and/or at least one side portion is configured such that the height and/or the width of the chamber decreases towards the front end of the chamber.

Floor covering
A method of making a floor covering including a tufted textile substrate and a reinforcement backing system. A layer of reinforcement fibers is positioned on the ends of yarn stitches. Applicators are operationally connected such that adhesive is forced into the reinforcement fiber layer towards a primary backing substrate, and adhesive is also substantially simultaneously directed to form a pool of adhesive between the applicators, and a portion of the pool of adhesive is also substantially simultaneously applied as a layer of adhesive on the reinforcement fiber layer.

Adhesive applicator control system
An apparatus for coating carpet webs in a coating apparatus with varying adhesives includes a controller, one or more sensors for detecting a volume of a puddle of the adhesive pooled in front of an application roller, and an electronic valve in fluid communication with each of a plurality of mixers. The electronic valve directs flow of the adhesive from any of the mixers to the coating apparatus. To switch from one of the adhesives to new adhesive as a next carpet web passes through the coating apparatus, the controller calculates a remaining length of the carpet web that can be coated with the adhesive in the puddle of adhesive based on the volume of the puddle, so that the puddle of the adhesive coats the carpet web, and then proximate a seam to the next carpet web, the new adhesive begins to coat the next carpet web.
