Apparatus and method for coating substrates with washcoats
A washcoat showerhead for depositing a washcoat onto a face of a substrate comprises a housing having an inlet for receiving the washcoat, a showerhead plate and a baffle. The housing and showerhead plate define a showerhead cavity with the baffle located within the showerhead cavity. The showerhead plate has a plurality of nozzle apertures for discharging the washcoat towards the face of the substrate. The baffle comprises an impermeable central body and a plurality of arms extending from the impermeable central body, the plurality of arms defining a plurality of flow apertures circumferentially arranged around the impermeable central body.
Fast homogenous coating process
The present invention is directed to a process for the production of exhaust catalysts. In particular, the process describes a way of coating a substrate in a manner which finally leads to reduced coating times.

Process for leak detection in catalyst production
The present invention is directed to a process, which can be used in the production of exhaust catalysts. In particular, the present process describes way of testing the leak-tightness of the coating equipment before a new coating campaign begins or during a running campaign.

Process for coating a substrate body
A method of catalytically coating a honeycomb monolith, in particular a so-called flow-through monolith, is featured. The process involves quite precisely coating the monolith with a method that uses an indirect coating via a displacement body. The method included controlling the process by monitoring certain measures and controlling the liquid coating medium feed as to limit bubble formation in the liquid coating medium.

Apparatus for treating a wellbore screen and method
An apparatus and methods for applying an inner coating to a wellbore screen are described. The apparatus comprises a support for the wellbore screen, an elongate injector for injecting coating material into the inner bore of the wellbore screen, and a driver for positioning the elongate injector into the inner bore and moving the elongate injector through the inner bore to introduce coating material to the inner bore. The elongate injector has a supported end, a distal end, and a coating material delivery line extending through the elongate injector from a coating material supply to a port at the distal end.
