Apparatus for applying a hot-melt adhesive to a substrate
The invention relates to applying a liquid to pasty hot-melt adhesive to a substrate (44), comprising a template (29), having at least one cavity (38) for the hot-melt adhesive, and also comprising an adhesive-transfer infeed (33), which is assigned to the template (29) and through which the adhesive can be introduced into the cavity (38). The special feature consists in that the apparatus (10) further comprises a transporting-fluid-supply opening (35), assigned to the template (29), and a device for displacing (13, 15), in particular pivoting, the template (29) between a first position, in which the cavity (38) is assigned to the adhesive-transfer infeed (33), and a second position, in which the cavity (38) is assigned to the transporting-fluid-supply opening (35), and therefore the adhesive, in the second position, can be discharged from the cavity (38) by a transporting fluid flowing through the transporting-fluid-supply opening (35).
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE AND FILM FORMING APPARATUS
A method of manufacturing a semiconductor includes adjusting a temperature of a substrate having a recess formed therein and accommodated in a container to a temperature within a range of 200 degrees C. or higher and 280 degrees or lower, and laminating a polyurea film in the recess in the substrate by supplying isocyanate gas and amine gas into the container.
Method for producing different populations of molecules or fine particles with arbitrary distribution forms and distribution densities simultaneously and in quantity, and masking
A masking member contains parallel through-holes, each of the through-holes contains a tilted wall structure; an upper end of the tilted wall structure of one of the through-holes abuts on an upper end of the tilted wall structure of an adjacent one of the through-holes thereby forming a knife-edge ridge at the upper ends. The masking member may in contact with a substrate. Formation in quantity of various different populations of a substance being studied with multiple combinations of distribution form and distribution density may be conducted by dripping a suspension of a single concentration of the substance onto the masking member.

METHOD OF FORMING SPRAYED COATING, HIGH-TEMPERATURE COMPONENT FOR TURBINE, TURBINE, MASKING PIN FOR FORMING SPRAYED COATING, AND MASKING MEMBER
A method of forming a sprayed coating includes preparing a spray target member having a surface on which openings of first ends of holes are formed, preparing a plurality of masking pins each of which comprises metal, and inserting each of the masking pins into a corresponding one of the holes so that each of the masking pins partially protrudes from the surface. The method also includes applying an adhesive agent for fixing the masking pins to the respective holes, to at least one of the holes or the masking pins, forming a ceramic layer by spraying on the surface of the spraying target member, the ceramic layer comprising a ceramic material, while the masking pins are fixed to the respective holes via the adhesive agent, and removing the masking pins from the holes after the spraying step.
