SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR BUOYANT PARTICLE PROCESSING
A system for buoyant particle processing includes: a reaction vessel, a stirring mechanism, a set of one or more pumps, and a filter. The system can additionally or alternatively include a set of pathways and/or any other suitable component(s). A method for buoyant particle processing includes: stirring the contents of a reaction vessel; washing a set of buoyant particles; and filtering the contents of the reaction vessel. Additionally or alternatively, the method can include any or all of: preprocessing the set of buoyant particles; adding a set of inputs to the reaction vessel; washing the set of buoyant particles; repeating one or more; and/or any other suitable process(es).
SPRAY COATING DEVICE AND SPRAY COATING METHOD
An object is to provide a spray coating device and a coating method, with which a uniform coating film can be formed by spray coating with two liquids having reactivity, and in which precipitation of a reaction product on a periphery can also be prevented. The object is achieved by providing a transporting unit for transporting a substrate downward; a first spray nozzle; a second spray nozzle disposed below the first spray nozzle; a holding plate for holding the first spray nozzle and the second spray nozzle such that an angle formed by center lines of the first spray nozzle and the second spray nozzle is 5° to 150°; and a liquid film forming unit for forming a liquid film which flows from above to below on a surface of the holding plate.
METHOD OF FORMING A PHOTO-CURED LAYER
A method of forming a photo-cured layer on a substrate can comprise using a first photocurable composition and a second photocurable composition, wherein both photocurable compositions may contain the same types of polymerizable monomers but in different concentration ratios. The concentration ratios of the monomers in each of the two photocurable compositions can be adapted that the uneven loss of one type of monomer from the first photocurable composition due to unwanted evaporation in certain regions of the substrate may be compensated by the second photocurable composition, which contains a higher amount of said monomer. The two photocurable compositions can further be adapted to easily merge to a combined layer with a very even distribution of the polymerizable monomers. This may allow forming photo-cured layers having an excellent homogeneous material structure throughout the layer.
