PLATE, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME, AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
This application provides a plate, a method for manufacturing same, and an electronic device. The method includes: forming a resin layer on a surface of a matrix, where the matrix is formed from organic matter, and a material forming the resin layer is different from a material forming the matrix; immersing the matrix in a first solution, the first solution containing a dye; and lifting the matrix formed with the resin layer out of the solution, where a height by which the matrix is lifted out of the solution per minute is not greater than 180 mm.
Geosynthetic Clay Liners and Methods of Manufacturing
A geosynthetic clay liner (GCL). The GCL may include a substrate layer, a bentonite layer applied onto the substrate layer, and a water-soluble polymer suspended in a non-aqueous medium and spray-applied over the bentonite layer.

Window and method of manufacturing the same
A method of manufacturing a window includes aging a window substrate for 48 hours to 72 hours, subjecting the aged window substrate to a plasma, and forming an anti-fingerprint layer on the plasma-treated window substrate.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MOLDING OF THERMOPLASTIC OPTICAL POLYMERS
Provided herein are methods of molding thermoplastic polymers into optical elements. The optical elements in the form of cylindrical discs, semi-finished lens blanks or finished lenses are compression molded at high temperature typically above thermoplastic polymers softening temperature and under high pressure. The semi-finished lens blanks and finished lenses are molded using front and back glass molds inside a mold assembly which reshapes the cylindrical discs that are either previously molded or cut out from thick slab. Also provided are methods for producing single vision and progressive addition lens prescriptions.
AIR BARRIER MATERIAL APPLICATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A post-cure inflation machine for processing a tire may include a tire holder shaft. The tire holder shaft may include a chuck to secure the tire to the tire holder shaft. A hollow passage may be defined in the tire holder shaft. A spray nozzle may be connected to a spray shaft that is telescopically disposed in the hollow passage of the tire holder shaft. The spray nozzle may extend to spray an air barrier material onto the tire.
Tapered multi-laminated tubular slingshot band
An improved slingshot band having a tapered outer contour. The slingshot band has a tubular body having a first fork end and a second pouch end. The tubular body comprises a first layer of an elastic polymer. The first layer has a constant thickness. The tubular body further comprises a second layer of an elastic polymer. The second layer has a greater thickness near the fork end of the tubular body and lower thickness near the pouch end of the tubular body. The increased thickness of the section of the tubular body near the fork end of the slingshot band reinforces the most vulnerable section of the slingshot band against failure, thereby extending its longevity.
Metallic bottle can and method for producing the same
A metallic bottle can including a metallic base material of the bottle shape that has a mouth portion having a threaded portion, a shoulder portion, a body portion and a bottom portion, wherein, on the outer surface of said mouth portion, a finishing varnish layer is provided directly on said metallic base material, and said finishing varnish layer has an MEK extractability of 2 to 8% by mass.
