Seeding boot with dry and liquid fertilizer distributors
A seeding boot, for a seeding apparatus mountable on a tyne, or adjacent a soil-opening disc, of a tillage implement, has a hollow boot body mountable adjacent the lower end of the tyne or lower portion of the soil-opening disc. A seed distributor in the boot body has a seed inlet connectable to a source of seeds; at least one seed outlet spaced laterally from the tyne or soil-opening disc; and at least one fertilizer or chemical distributor located rearwardly of the tyne or the soil-opening disc. The seed outlet(s) are provided at, or adjacent, the distal ends of laterally-extending hollow wings, which extend from the seed distributor. When two fertilizer or chemical distributors are provided, the first distributor is connected to dry or granular fertilizer; while the second distributor is connected to liquid fertilizer or chemical(s); the outlet from the second distributor is located intermediate the tyne or soil-opening disc and the outlet from the first distributor; and the outlets of the first and second distributors are at a reduced depth in the soil relative to the seed outlet(s).
Agricultural drill/planter/coulter/disc blade with sine wave edge
An agricultural tillage blade having a central opening is adapted to be disposed on a shaft for rotation to cut trash and penetrate into the soil. The blade has an outer periphery substantially in the shape of a sine curve formed about a circle. The outer periphery of the blade is sharpened to more easily penetrate the soil and cut trash.

GAUGE WHEEL WITH TINES AND CIRCUMFERENTIAL LINER
An agricultural gauge wheel includes a hub which rotates about an axis, a rim extending generally radially from the axis, the rim defining a circumferential portion and a center plane defined as a plane perpendicular to the axis and bisecting the rim, and a tread including a plurality of tread portions extending away from the center plane to an outer tread edge. The plurality of tread portions define an inside diameter of the tread and the gauge wheel also includes a liner secured to the rim, the liner including an outer diameter less than or equal to the inside diameter of the tread and extending beyond the outer tread edge.

SEEDING APPARATUS
A seeding apparatus comprising a frame having a first section adapted to be attached to a toolbar for towing by a vehicle, and a second section comprising a cutting unit and a seeding unit, the cutting unit comprising at least one cutting disc and the seeding unit comprising at least one seed boot and at least one seed boot mounting, the seed boot mounting comprising a bar configured to locate the seed boot adjacent a side surface of the cutting disc, wherein the bar comprises a proximal end attached to the frame of the seeding apparatus, and a distal end for attachment of the seed boot. The invention also relates to a cutting and seeding assembly for mounting on the seeding apparatus.
