PROVIDING DISPOSITION-DRIVEN RESPONSES TO STIMULI WITH AN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE-BASED SYSTEM
An artificial intelligence-based computer-implemented method and system is provided for performing an action with a machine. Input is received from one or more sensors. The input is used to determine a stimulus, which is used with a waveform to select a set of actions to perform. A mood of the machine is determined from a second waveform generated by a mood mechanism. The mood is used to select an action from the subset of actions. The mood may activate one or more reaction mechanisms to provide a physiological response. The machine then initiates the action.

BALL JUMPING APPARATUS AND BALL ABSORPTION METHOD USING THE SAME
Disclosed are ball jumping apparatuses and ball absorption methods using the same. The ball jumping apparatus comprises a fixing part, a moving part spaced apart from the fixing part, and a resilient member that connects the fixing part and the moving part to each other. The resilient member extends upwardly from the fixing part and has a connection with the moving part. The fixing part includes a fixing plate that spreads in a horizontal direction. The moving part includes an oscillating vessel that has a ball receiving space in which a ball is received, and an oscillator coupled to the oscillating vessel. A bottom surface of the oscillating vessel is upwardly spaced apart from a top surface of the fixing plate.

ELASTIC MATERIAL VIBRATION TEST APPARATUS
An elastic material vibration test apparatus includes a lower support plate having an upper surface on which an elastic material to be tested is placed, an upper support plate disposed above the lower support plate to be spaced apart from the lower support plate, a pillar connecting the lower support plate and the upper support plate, a pressing rod configured to pass through the upper support plate and ascend and descend in a vertical direction, an air bearing installed on the upper support plate and supporting an outer surface of the pressing rod in a non-contact state, a pressing plate coupled to a lower end of the pressing rod to press an upper surface of the elastic material, and one or more weights coupled to the pressing rod above the air bearing.
Filtration apparatus and method
A filtering apparatus formed by a plurality of channel systems. Each of the channel systems include an inlet port formed on an inlet side of the plate; no more than one outlet port formed on an outlet side of the plate; and a channel formed in the plate, the channel coupled to the inlet port and to the outlet port, wherein the ratio of the product of the capture area of the inlet ports of a channel system with the first transmissivity associated with the inlet ports to the product of the capture area of the outlet ports of a channel system with the second transmissivity associated with the outlet ports is greater than one. The channel system is configured to interact with objects of interest on a scale which is smaller than a value several orders of magnitude larger than the mean free path of an object of interest. Some plate embodiments are configured to interact with particles, such as air molecules, water molecules, or aerosols. Other plate embodiments are configured to interact with waves or wavelike particles, such as electrons, photons, phonons or acoustic waves.
