Shale-gas separator discharge diffuser
According to one aspect, a diffuser apparatus includes a first pipe having a first plurality of openings formed therein, the first pipe defining a first passageway that is adapted to receive a first portion of debris that is discharged from a well; a first housing within which the first pipe extends, the first housing comprising a first wall and a first outlet formed therein; and a first region formed between the first pipe and the first housing, the first region in communication with the first passageway via the first plurality of openings; wherein the first plurality of openings are circumferentially and axially spaced along the first pipe to pass the first portion of the debris from the first passageway to the first region; and wherein the first outlet is sized such that the first portion of the debris exits the first region via the first outlet.

Bar-type screen cage
A bar-type screen cage has profiled screen bars which are spaced apart in a circumferential direction. Multiple support arrangements which are spaced apart in an axial direction of the screen cage are fastened by welding to the profile bars at the outside. The screen bars, which are spaced apart in an axial direction, form screen slots between them. Each support arrangement includes at least two support wires which are closely spaced apart in the axial direction of the screen bars and which are fixed to the screen bars by resistance welding. The two support wires of each support arrangement and the profile bars-are fixedly connected to one another by way of an additional weld seam.

HYGIENIC FILTER AND DISPOSAL DEVICE
A hygienic filter and disposal apparatus comprising a main compartment a base platform, a front end, and a back end, and adapted to contain granular material and waste; a secondary compartment adapted to contain granular material; a door connecting the main compartment to the secondary compartment; and a filter element, comprising porous walls around a cavity and a first opening into said cavity, the walls adapted to filter waste out of the granular material; wherein the back end is proximate to the first opening at a first position where the front end and the back end of the base platform are level; wherein in a second position the front end is lifted higher than the back end and the granular material and waste are directed through the first opening into the cavity; wherein in the second position the filter element retains waste in the cavity and permits the granular material to fall through the porous walls into the secondary compartment; wherein in a third position the back end is higher than the front end and the door opens and directs the granular material into the main compartment; and wherein the device is adapted to sequence from the first position to the second position to the third position.

Rotary separation apparatus and process
A rotary separation apparatus is deployed in a process for separating resinous trichomes rich in flavoring, aromatic and/or medicinal components produced in plant trichome glands from unwanted plant matter. A liquid freezing agent is introduced into a container of the plant matter to fragment the undesirable matter while the desired portion rich in trichome remain intact.
