Material and hardware to automatically clean flexible electronic web rolls
Novel materials and devices can remove small defects from long rolls of flexible electronics material while they are in continuous motion. The cleaning materials are designed to remove small particles without transferring defects or damaging the flexible electronics. The device generally consists of variable speed, motor-driven cylinders mounted on movable brackets. The cylinders are capable of matching the speed of the cleaning material such that the cleaning material is always in contact with the web roll to be cleaned. The brackets are capable of rotating so the same material can be used more than once. Another material is used to remove debris from the cleaning material. A similar device consisting of motor-driven cylinders and movable is used to apply the debris removal film to the cleaning film, allowing the cleaning film to be used multiple times.
Vehicle wash system with pivoting side brushes and method for avoiding vehicle side mirrors
A vehicle wash system includes a vehicle treatment area and an overhead frame portion supporting a pair of side brushes. The side brushes are configured to treat the lateral sides of the vehicle and may also treat the front and back of the vehicle. The side brushes are configured to pivot between a vertical position and an outwardly angled position, in which the side brushes are generally aligned with the side glass of the vehicle windows. The side brushes may travel along the side of the vehicle in both the vertical and pivoted orientations. The side brushes may make multiple passes along the side of the vehicle, and the side brushes may change orientation during or between passes to treat different segments of the vehicle. The side brushes may be pivoted at a side mirror location of the vehicle.
Apparatus and method for cleaning a lens
An apparatus and a method for cleaning a lens with which the lens can selectively be fed by means of a common handling device to several cleaning devices and can be moved in a lens-specific manner during cleaning.
Streamer cleaning apparatus and associated systems and methods
Embodiments relate to marine streamer cleaning. An embodiment provides a streamer cleaning apparatus comprising: a housing comprising an inlet configured to receive a streamer and an outlet configured to dispatch the streamer; and scraper lamellas coupled to the housing, wherein the scraper lamellas are arranged to form an opening to receive the streamer. Methods of cleaning a streamer and streamer cleaning systems are also provided.
System and method of cleaning a conveyor belt
A cleaning apparatus is disclosed. The cleaning apparatus includes a roller system including a drive roller and one or more guide rollers configured to receive an elongated article to be cleaned. Each guide roller and the drive roller form a serpentine path for the article. The cleaning apparatus further includes a frame for supporting each guide roller and the drive roller; and a fluid delivery system for directing fluid at top and bottom faces of the article. The fluid delivery system includes one or more conduits. Each conduit is in fluid communication with a plurality of nozzles to direct fluid to the top and the bottom faces of the article. The cleaning apparatus further includes an actuator to linearly displace at least one of conduits back and forth during operation. The drive roller may be a sprocket for engaging and transporting the article. The article may be a conveyor belt.
COATING METHOD OF BOARD FOR PRODUCING CONCRETE PRODUCT AND BOARD COATED BY SAME
A coating method of a board for producing a concrete product and a board coated by the same are proposed. The coating method is advantageous in that the whole surface of a board can be rapidly coated and dried to prevent surface corrosion of the board and to prevent further corrosion on a damaged surface of the board, thus improving the durability of the board and the quality of the produced concrete products. The coating method includes: removing residues existing on an outer surface of the board by blowing high-pressure air to an upper surface and a lower surface of the board for producing a concrete product; coating by spraying coating liquid to the outer surface of the board from which the residues have been removed; and drying the coating liquid by blowing high-pressure air to the outer surface of the board.
Packaging machine for packaging with stretch film
A packaging machine for packaging products to be packaged using a stretchable film has a film transporter supplying the film. The film transporter has first and second belt conveyors that each have first and second transport belts, which are synchronously driven and arranged next to one another in a film transport direction. A belt conveyor is movable in a direction perpendicular to the film transport direction, and has a movable film guide to insert the film into the film transporter. The film guide has a guide plate for guiding the film. The guide plate has first and second recesses in an upper edge in the vertical direction facing the belt conveyors. The belt conveyors are to be inserted into a respective one of the recesses. The film transporter has cleaners for the belt conveyors.
Self-advancing cleaner
A self-advancing cleaner and a method of operating the self-advancing cleaner. In an embodiment, a rotatable member can engage a transport belt, wherein the rotatable member includes a cleaning surface comprising a surface sufficiently rough to collect and take away ink debris from the transport belt. During a cleaning operation the cleaning surface remains stationary while the transport belt moves in a sliding relative motion with respect to the cleaning surface, which allows the ink debris to be collected on the cleaning surface. Once an ink contamination level associated with the ink debris attains a threshold and a set friction exceeds the threshold, the self-advancing cleaner advances.
Smartcard cleaning and sorting systems and methods
Various arrangements are presented for cleaning and sorting transaction cards. A transaction card may be dispensed from an intake magazine that houses a plurality of smartcards. The transaction card may be moved along a cleaning assembly. After cleaning the transaction card, the transaction card may be sorted and output into an output magazine. A card sensor may be used to determine when a next transaction card should be dispensed.
Substrate cleaning device, substrate processing apparatus and substrate cleaning method
A rotating substrate is cleaned by a polishing head and a cleaning brush. A first trajectory is formed by movement of the polishing head along a first path. A second trajectory is formed by movement of the cleaning brush along a second path. A region in which the first and second paths overlap with each other is defined as an interference region. The polishing head moves from a center towards an outer peripheral end of the substrate, and it is determined whether the polishing head has moved out of the interference region. At a time point at which it is determined that the polishing head has moved out of the interference region, the cleaning brush starts moving from the outer peripheral end towards the center of the substrate.
