VISCOUS MATERIAL WIPING DEVICE

A viscous material wiping device wipes the viscous material attached to the tip of a spatula with a sheet. A sheet support jig has a groove recessed in the sheet facing surface, the groove includes a receiving portion and a wiping portion that are continuous in the groove extending direction, and the wiping portion has a groove width smaller than that of the receiving portion and substantially equal to the outer dimension of the tip of the spatula. A controller drives the moving mechanism to position the spatula on the opposite side of the sheet supporting jig with respect to the sheet in a posture that the spatula extends parallel to the groove extending direction and overlaps the groove when viewed in a normal direction of the sheet facing surface, and move the spatula in the normal direction so that the tip of the spatula is received in the receiving portion by pressing the sheet against the groove with the spatula. The spatula is configured to move in the groove extending direction so that the tip of the spatula passes through the wiping portion.

A coil spring has the pin extending there through. The string cleaner is normally biased to a closed position by the coil spring where the top and bottom arched plates are pressed against each other. The string cleaner has an open position where the top and bottom arched plates are spaced from each other. A first cleaning pad attached to the top arched plate, and second cleaning pad is attached to the bottom arched plate.

The apparatus can also include sprayer nozzles fluidly coupled to the fluid directing channel which can be directed toward or beyond the slider or wheel. A magnet can also be positioned on the apparatus that is configured to interact magnetically to pull the cleaning apparatus toward the horizontally curved metal tower, but the magnet is not close enough to touch the horizontally curved metal tower when the slider or wheel is in contact with the horizontally curved metal tower.

A brush configured to clean, buff, and polish a surface, comprising a core member having a central axis, a periphery and a sheet of material, the sheet of material comprising closed-cell silicone foam rubber and having a first free end portion. The sheet of material is attached to the core member with the free end portion extending away from the periphery substantially parallel to the central axis of the core member. The core member includes a flat surface adjacent the attachment of the sheet of material. The core member and the sheet of material are configured for relative movement with respect to the surface in at least a first direction. The motion in the first direction causes the free end portion of the sheet of material to contact the surface at a non-zero velocity, and produces at least one of the cleaning, buffing and/or polishing action on the surface.
