Screen for separating solid residues, and in particular for separating sheet or expanded material, such as bags or parts of bags made of plastic, polystyrene, spongy material or another light material, which comprises a separation station (10) interposed between the inlet port (P1) and the outlet port (P2) of the screen above its screening surface (P) and preferably after the powders and the lightest portions have already been separated. The station (10) comprises a hood (11) delimiting a suction chamber (13), and insufflation means (15) for orienting at least one lifting air flow (16) in the suction chamber (13) at the screening surface (P). The lifting air flow (16) is oriented for forming a vortex (17) confined in said suction chamber (13) and with rotation axis (Z) orthogonal to the screening surface (P) capable of lifting the sheet material and delivering it to suction means (18) associated with the hood (11).

A method for controlling the direction of gas suctioning is carried out in a device (1) for producing a three-dimensional object (2) by selectively solidifying building material (13) layer by layer. The device (1) comprises an application device (12-14) for applying a layer of the building material (13) to a build area in a working plane (10), a solidifying device (20) for selectively solidifying the building material (13) in the applied layer, and at least two gas nozzles (40) which are arranged at the edge of the build area. The gas nozzles (40) are switchable into a function for suctioning gas from the device (1) and to a functionless state, and are switched depending on an operating state of the device (1).
Safety Cabinet
An object of the present invention is to provide a safety cabinet that allows a clearer observation of contamination of an operation stage surface. In order to realize the object, the safety cabinet is configured to include an operation space including an operation stage; a front panel formed in a front surface of the operation space; an operation opening provided in a lower portion of the front panel; a suction port that is provided in the vicinity of the operation opening on a front side of the operation stage to lead downward; and an air circulation path through which air suctioned from the suction port flows along a lower portion, a back surface, and an upper portion of the operation space, in which the operation stage is made of a transparent material, and a light source is provided to irradiate the operation stage with a light from a side of the operation stage, which is opposite to the operation space.
